'Get back on your diet!' Real Housewives' Yolanda Foster advises daughter Gigi, 17, to be skinny

At 17 Gigi Hadid is at her most beautiful, with her long slender legs winning her a starring role in Guess' latest campaign.
But here is always room for improvement, at least according to her mother, Yolanda Foster.

On this week's Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills the newest cast member was seen advising her daughter to diet.

'You can have one night of being bad, right,' she tells her. 'Then you gotta get back on your diet you know, because in Paris and Milan they like the girls just a bit on the skinny side.'

Yea I couldn't believe that Yolanda said that thing about looking Chinese. But wtf at Yolanda saying that Brandi said that she slept with every guy in town. She didn't say that!

I think she misunderstood what Brandi had said to her. Brandi was (jokingly) saying that she personally had slept with everyone but Yolanda thought she was accusing HER of sleeping with everyone. I can see how Yolanda would be confused especially since English isn't her first language.

I just don't feel the need to jump all over Yolanda. The woman is foreign, and I think when you grow up in a different culture, you maybe sometimes say things that wouldn't be offensive in your culture that might be offensive to another culture. I don't think she was trying to say last night that Asians didn't look pretty, just that the eyes wouldn't look well on her daughter, and that her daughter needs to know what works with her facial features.

Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention, but I thought she explained that if the corners of her eyes weren't rounded with makeup it just wouldn't work well for her daughter's looks. I just took it that she was talking about her daughter specifically not everyone in general.

Well, it depends on how long you do it and how hard you do it. When I do zumba I feel like I've barely worked out because I'm too busy trying to figure out how to roll my hips like that.

here is more from her bravo blog about the diet comment. from the show and the blog i took it to be more of a comment on healthy living and not eating junk food, not that she is on some really restrictive diet. but what do i know.

"Even the comment about Gigi's diet seems so shallow but the truth is, she was booked on a job in Paris the week after and it required her to stay disciplined with her healthy diet. I know this can be very hard for a 17 year old but it’s still a small price to pay for the financial independence it gives her at this young of an age. And you should all know, after her photo shoot we went to Le Crepe and pigged out on 3 crepes each. Yummy!"
