I lived at the top of this hill and have actually done this on more than a couple of occasions.

LOL, I just remembered that right when you replied. I'm originally from the U.P. and my dad worked in Houghton for a while. Yooper ♥

trixielollipop 13th-Nov-2012 05:40 pm (UTC)

Where do you live? This fucking petrifies me only because I hate driving in the snow, I had this happen to me and gotten into a really nasty accident before. I can't picture people doing this for fun.. scares the shit out of me!
trixielollipop 13th-Nov-2012 05:48 pm (UTC)
This is in Upper Michigan, I'm from there but I live elsewhere now. This probably wasn't for fun, it was a really, really bad day on the roads yesterday. However, I have fucked around on roads like this in the past because winter driving is p fun when there's no one else on the roads.

lol I lived near a hill that was like this during a bad snow storm a few years back. The best part was that a Police Station was directly across the street so help could get their quick when people slid down the hill and into the median. lol

my friend and I sat out on my balcony and laughed at them. BUT in our defense, the storm had been going on all day at this point, people had been told to stay off the roads and these people going down the hill were not going to the emergency room or anything, they were going to the Wawa gas station at the bottom of the hill. lol

Oh lord, I live in the LP but my grandpa grew up there and I hear so many crazy stories.

Ahhhh MEMORIES OF SNOW DRIVING. One of the things I don't miss from living in the north.

trixielollipop 13th-Nov-2012 09:44 pm (UTC)
