One Direction's Zayn Malik dishes on 1D audience: 'best fans in the world'
Zayn Malik loves the One Direction fans. Currently the band is on tour in America, but even so the fans made sure the band was well represented in Europe while the guys were away. At the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards, the guys won two awards on Sunday night and the fans couldn't be happier. Well, maybe Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson are happier as the guys have been gushing on how wonderful the fans are towards the band.
“Can't get over you guys. Don't get how much you amaze me. Thank you for everything, you truly are the best fans in the world. Love you all,” tweeted Zayn Malik from his official Twitter account on Sunday night. The message, retweeted several thousand times, has the fans delighted that the guys have noticed them.
As with most of the award shows, the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards was based on the most votes received, and One Direction won because the fans kept voting. One Direction fans are a strong bunch and went over to the award site daily to place their choice for the best and it had to take a little bit of time out of an already busy day.
Knowing just how special the fans are, Zayn Malik definitely gave kudos where they were due. Sharing the moment with the fans, it appears that he has decided that One Direction fans are the best in the world. Frankly, who would want to argue? Hmm... Malik couldn't be more accurate.
