Oooh! sorry, I don't change the intensity as much anymore because I have lung issues I have to not overdue. I have been spinning for years I incorporate some of the exercises (forward backward positions, Uphill intensity for 5 mins, etc..) I think you can change it up however intense you want to be. I customize but typically stick to the same cycling routine as much as possible.

yes, look at those garage sales and keep an eye out because there are incredible deals on spinners right now. I think people buy them thinking they can handle the intensity of the workout only for them to give up very easily once they realize its a bitch of a workout.

I'm looking online at the upright Schwinn indoor bikes and would those be the ones I'd use for spinning?

Probably so, the one i bought was a schwinn. Just make sure it says Spin Bike.

It has to look similar to this
