I hate it too but I think short women do it for the same reason they wear tunic-length tops, it elongates the torso. She is 5' nothing like me so I imagine she is trying to look/photograph taller.

I agree. My mom saw tabloid covers and she had no idea who Jessica Simpson was, and she was like why are people hounding this pregnant woman. Then I explained who she was, and she said " she makes the shows, bags, clothes that are always in Macy's? She must be rich, that's why they are so mean to her". I said no mom, they are mean because apparently women aren supposed to gain weight during pregnancy.

I wasn't so much bothered by the media as I was by the comments here. They were pretty disgusting. Same goes for what people say about Christina and Lady Gaga. But people loos their shit when someone says something negative about Adele. It's so hypocritical.

Spinning is so ridiculously hard but if you can keep up with it you can shred those pounds so easily. I spin at home these days now that my lungs are fucked. I wouldn't be able to keep up with a typical class anymore.

I do about 45 mins of Spinning a day plus crunches. It's all I can handle for now. I do miss my stairmaster though :(

Make sure to drink some gatorade along with Smartwater.

I LOOOOOVE spin class! Well, when the music is good. I can do 2 in a row. Then I want to eat the bike and anything I see on the way.

My gym does spin classes and I want to try one but I'm sooo scared and self-conscious!! I go to the gym on my own. I feel like everyone in that class will be a regular and I'll be panting my lungs out and needing to stop but obviously I can't or it'll be humiliating. I hear it's good for losing weight though so that's why I want to do it. How is it for you in terms of my self-conscious problem and losing weight or getting fitter?

I've only done a beginner's 30 min spin class, and it was brutal. I'm scared to do a real one. Hope you're hydrating!
