Mte-- the zombie must of dragged her further off so her bones/whatever leftover were hidden in shadows beyond where the zombie was resting when Rick found him

I think some time had passed... not a LOT hence why his stomach was so gross, but I think the zombie attack in the last episode happened early in the day. Daryl and Maggie left with enough light in the day to go wherever and get supplies and they came back when it was dark. I can't remember the sequence of scenes exactly but I'd assume the zombie found Lori right after Maggie and Carl ran (found bc of the gun shot noise) and then Rick found it around dusk. At least 3-4 hours in my brain...

yes, they have all those things, but inside, they don't know what to expect from those people. outside, they know what to expect. walkers. they will try to eat them, and they need to kill the ones that try. the devil that you know.
andrea must've forgotten that non-walker humans are capable of shit worse than the walkers. they needed to just take some supplies and run.

my brother and i were dying from laughter when rick found the zombie who ate lori's body. i know that's horrible, but the zombie's bloated belly was just tmth. "oh man i ate toooooo much. i'm never going to fit into those pants now. i just have no self-control, i swear."
