I think there's a huge difference between being a pothead and being "addicted" to weed.

There are people who smoke weed because they enjoy it, and those because they need it to survive. I think she was the latter and you're the former. I was the former (prior to my stopping completely) and my boyfriend definitely the latter. It was such a problem that even when he was hospitalized, he was trying to sneak it (thankfully he was unable to). I just don't think it meshes with everyone's chemical make-up.
