Just saw Skyfall out of immense curiousity cause i'm not a 007 fan, by all means, i fell asleep at a few of the brosnan ones, no suspension of disbelief for me with Bond, idk.
But everyone was praising the shit out of this one so i went

It's so good. Bardem is fantastic and there are some really fun explosions / fights. The cinematography is superb aswell. I can't with Daniel Craig and his zoolander poses but it somehow worked here
malocudoviste 11th-Nov-2012 08:05 pm (UTC)
I kept thinking, whenever I saw his pout during the movie, that he reminded me of someone. definitely zoolander lmao
mistress_f 11th-Nov-2012 08:14 pm (UTC)
his blue steel is perfect tbh

jaimelannister 11th-Nov-2012 07:43 pm (UTC)
I watched the first episode of Elementary. I really liked it. Joan is awesome and I really like JLM's Sherlock.
joaniemaloney 11th-Nov-2012 08:19 pm (UTC)

Awww - I have this on my must-see-list! Were they happy or sad tears?
freemywilly 11th-Nov-2012 07:54 pm (UTC)
sad tears

I'm a big dog lover and the film of course is centered around his dog, so yeah :\ if you plan on seeing it, have tissues handy
mistress_f 11th-Nov-2012 07:54 pm (UTC)

winonaforever 11th-Nov-2012 07:53 pm (UTC)

rogue 11th-Nov-2012 09:01 pm (UTC)
i want your weekend
sastra_fuss 11th-Nov-2012 08:01 pm (UTC)
absolutely nothing. i'm about to play the sims 3. can't wait until i get my copy of seasons.

the guy i'm seeing asked me to feed his pets while he's out of town so i went over there and the place was a huge mess. like, i'm no neat freak but damn, i have a limit. it's usually not that bad but umm if you're going out of town for over a week you'd at least clean a little
shortliljackers 11th-Nov-2012 08:02 pm (UTC)
i caught up to the most recent episode of once upon a time!
jaimelannister 11th-Nov-2012 08:15 pm (UTC)
I really liked the flashbacks in that - do you know if there's a new one tonight?

I fell asleep during Skyfall but the beginning and ending were pretty good.
levenah 11th-Nov-2012 08:12 pm (UTC)
I've been studying pretty much all weekend.

Friday night I went and saw Skyfall though - loved it!

Oh and I finally finished Downton Abbey. I only started it last Monday, and now I'm obsessed!
joaniemaloney 11th-Nov-2012 08:15 pm (UTC)

unlike me to have not seen Lincoln or Skyfall by the end of the weekend, been looking forward to those two. but anyhow, I saw Midnight's Children and it was all right. haven't read the book but I've got a copy of it.
theoryofwar 11th-Nov-2012 08:33 pm (UTC)
I babysat. Exciting, but I got 65$ out of it!
I'm almost done with my book and now I'm trying to figure out what to read next.

And I'm just generally being anxious and jittery and not able to make up my mind. I want to cry so badly, but I don't have a reason to.
hello_samm 11th-Nov-2012 08:36 pm (UTC)
Skyfall was in-fucking-credible, oh my god.
frklphace 11th-Nov-2012 08:46 pm (UTC)
i want to see movies but my friends always fall the fuck asleep in the theater and if they don't they really don't like action movies. my boyfriend refuses to go to the theater because he has a theater in his home so he makes me wait until they come out on dvd/netflix

i wanna see skyfall sfb
theoryofwar 11th-Nov-2012 09:05 pm (UTC)
I'll never understand how people can fall asleep in the theater.

And your boyfriend has a theater in his home?! VERY JEALOUS. I just finished organizing my films by alphabetical order today. I feel accomplished.
frklphace 11th-Nov-2012 09:24 pm (UTC)
it makes me raaaage soooo bad and then when they wake up they're all "what happened?" while we're still in the theater like i'm supposed to explain to them. and then they complain it wasn't a good movie bc they fell asleep/missed the entire middle lol

i wish i could alphabetize mine but i can't bc i'd never put them back properly lol

and he does! but it'd be nice to go to the theater sometimes still :(
lunchbag 11th-Nov-2012 08:47 pm (UTC)
I got waaaay drunker than I intended to last night and I am paying for it today. Not to mention I have to write a 15-page paper at some point today that I have not started yet (it's nearing 4pm here). AWESOME.
adorealire 11th-Nov-2012 08:50 pm (UTC)
It is the Windsor International Film Festival this weekend so I saw Eddie the Sleepwalking Cannibal, and The Intouchables. Eddie was pretty good, but omg The Intouchables was amazing. I really loved it a lot!

I have never seen a James Bond film in its entirety, because it has never really appealed to me, but Skyfall does look really good.
