The Twilight Films: All Of 'Em, Ranked From Worst to Best



5. New Moon.
In book form, the Twilight series is infamous for teasing audiences with a whole lot of nothing in between somethings. For me, the New Moon film had the least to offer die-hard fans and casual moviegoers alike. It's a story that has Bella at her most doormat-like, sitting in a chair, literally, for months after Edward dumps her. Her flirtation with Jacob never feels real thanks to uneven acting, and her suicidal tendencies seem inexplicably extreme even for a jilted teenage girl who can only see her ex when she's at risk of dying.

I kind of like the first Twilight movie tbh. The rest are godawful. I watched Breaking Dawn pt 1 yesterday and that movie is just HORRIBLE and hilarious. Bella trying to seduce Edward, the whole birth scene where Bella looks like a fucking corpse, Jacob imprinting on Renesme, the romanticizing of violence. Plus I want to punch the shit out of Jacob because he is so annoying.

The imprinting just CREEPS ME THE FUCK OUT. I watched them all drunk, got kicked out of the cinema twice - from the age of 24 - I still claim this as one of my greatest achievements, the twihards? not so much.

twilight was the best, eclipse was the worst, new moon had the best soundtrack and breaking dawn provided the most lulz.

I thought new moon was the best in terms of direction, editing, music etc. the first twilight is so poorly directed, it always makes me lol

it really really is :-/ the camera angles, the lighting, the takes of the scenes they chose over better ones, the SFX, the score...its all terrible, like really terrible lol.

I thought Breaking Dawn was best in terms of directing alone.

However the Twilight (1) although can be used into the others drinking came is the best. Probably as good as the HSM one.
