What are some of your favorite local hangouts?
I love my salon. My hairstylist Kristin Ess opened up her own little studio. It’s fun. She’s fantastic, is a close friend, and is thankfully very flexible with my schedule. I’ll be working all week, and I’ll come in at like 7 at night. My hair takes seven hours, so sometimes we’ll order take out and drink champagne. We also like to fool around a bit, so it probably takes a lot longer than it should!
Wait, seven hours?! Explain please!
Well, I usually wear extensions!

this is one of the many reasons I have vowed to never braid my hair again no matter how much people try to pressure me.
But it sucks because lately I keep seeing people with beautiful braids and I'm getting tempted to try it again, lol.
I say I'm going to stop doing braids like every year and always end up relapsing bc it's so easy to just stop worrying about what your hair is doing for a few months.
but I'm trying to take it seriously this time. every time I see some girl with qt braids in I have to remind myself of the pain, sweat and tears I would have to endure to achieve that.
i've never done it because i'm pretty fairskinned and i always thought it would look funny on me, like one of those tourist white girls in jamaica who get their hair braided. :\
I've been kind of bleh about her Kohl's line lately. Most of it is either ugly or fits weird.

also,if you can try macadamia's deep repair masque. it's magical.
i egg mask every two weeks, every week if i can manage it. it's really easy, just get it all in there, rub it in then wrap wour hair in plastic. when you rinse use luke warm/cold water so you don't cook any egg in your hair heh
Also: I do NOT understand the fashion of wearing big rimmed glasses w/o lenses. I saw so many people with them on at a music festival I went to a few months ago I was just like "uhhh.."

I scheduled an appointment with a lady that's supposed to do the whole Deva cut thing. Here's hoping it won't turn out too bad (as long as I can still tie it back, it won't be worse than now).
