sorry the vids wont embed :( “Millions of Twilight fans out there just cannot wait to see this. It’s almost heartbreaking because they don’t want it to be over. It’s a little bittersweet, isn’t it?” LMFAO!
I dunno, I maintain that (a) he auditioned as a joke, thinking he'd never get the role of someone described as ~SO GORGEOUS~, and then got sucked into the madness and (b) the fandom really does take it too far. AFAIK he's actually pretty nice about doing pics & autographs and stuff when people act sane, but these people are scary-ass stalkers and totally cross the line of reason. So he's allowed to be wary of them without seeming too ungrateful, IMO. And I dunno about all the staged/tabloid stuff; I can't tell how much is actually fake. But I did always get the impression he genuinely loved Kristen. IDK.
I don't blame him for his uneasiness, distaste and disgust with the ultra crazy, extreme twihards who give him pairs of those undies with his face in the crotch for him to lick and give back, because those women are fucking scary. And hopefully those women are on a very special list and aren't allowed within 300 miles of anyone who works on these movies.
But his passive aggressiveness has not come back to bite him like it's bitten Kristen.

Well, that's probably because of the media's double standard re: gender and how girls should be 'nice' and friendly and guys are allowed to ~brood. *sigh* I've always liked Rob better than Kristen because he's just hilarious and says ridiculous things all the time, but it's annoying the way the press has always loved him and kinda hated her, even pre-Rupertgate, even though they've always more or less had the same dubious contempt for the series.

Eh, I'm not 100% comfortable with saying it's misogyny, because it isn't a cut and dry "Rob is perfect and Kristen is a cuntwhoreskank." Nor do I believe that not liking a woman = misogyny.
Honestly, I think that if things were reversed where Kristen had the witty quips and Rob was the sulking sourpuss, I'd be team Kristen and wishing Rob to jump into the void.

That's exactly how I feel. It has NOTHING to do with the fact that Kristen is a woman, but everything her particular attitude. There are plenty of other actresses with dispositions similar to Rob and I adore them.
I don't get it, is him being a naive idiot supposed to be some sort of excuse?
