my co worker got a tattoo on her finger and not only did it look fug as hell but it got infected or s/t and now it's just a weird looking scar

My coworker also got a finger tattoo. One of those stupid mustache ones. It smudged and faded. He's had to retouch it twice and he'll have to do it again so I wouldn't recommend it.

yeah when i went to get my allons-y tattoo a while back my friend wanted one on the side of her foot (like on the arch) and the guy wouldn't do it. and he said he doesn't do finger tattoos or stuff on the side of the foot because the ink heals funky in those places, smudges, and just ends up looking like shit.

if ur looking to have it not be as noticeable or something the back of your neck is a good spot imo! that's where i have my allons-y one and i seriously forget i have it sometimes lol. plus its easier to cover if you have long hair, if not just wear a shirt w a higher collar or a scarf. ive also seen tattoos behind the ear and i think those look qt :)

finger tattoos are going to fade asap so unless you are willing to get it touched up often, don't bother. I just got mine done while i was on vacation and the artist was hesitant to do it until i took off my sweater and saw i already had a full sleeve.

I have the stars from the top of the pages in the american editions on my shoulder and I love them. No one ever realizes they're from HP though lol

I don't even GAF, Harry Potter tattoos are fantastic! The biggest criticism imo is that nost of them aren't very original, but who even cares because Harry Potter is the best. Go for it, bb! :D

I have 2 - Deathly Hallows on my wrist, and the flying key from the first book on my foot. I love both of them. I got the DH one a few weeks after the last book came out and I like the little connections I get with people when they recognize it

LOL i have expecto patronum on my forearm :) it was my first tattoo! i love,love,love it sfm. i got it done in white ink actually and it healed great. its my favorite spell btw. oh and i took my copies of the books in (bc theres parts where hermione signed her name in like a letter to harry and i also took in my copies of like fantastic beasts and where to find them hermione makes like small notes in the margines) so we could get an idea of hermione's handwriting so we based the handwriting for it off of that :)
