USA has renewed long-running spy drama Burn Notice for a seventh season.

The cable network has picked up 13 episodes for the new season, pushing the hourlong to more than 100 episodes. Season seven will launch in 2013.

Burn Notice closed out its summer run of season six in August with nearly 5 million viewers tuning in. Paired with Suits, which was renewed for a third season, the two-hour block this past summer paid off for USA.

“Burn Notice is like a fine wine that gets better with age,” said USA Network co-presidents Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel in a joint statement announcing the renewal. “Delivering high-octane action, gripping drama and nearly 7 million viewers for the mid-season finale, this veteran series is a proven staple of our portfolio.”

Created by Matt Nix, the Fox TV Studios/Fuse Entertainment-produced Burn Notice stars Jeffrey Donovan, Bruce Campbell, Coby Bell and Gabrielle Anwar. Executive producers include Nix, Mikkel Bondesen and Alfredo Barrios.

Burn Notice returns for the second half of season six 9 p.m. Thursday.

Overall, this show hasn't been fun for me ever since they started the Anson arc in season five.  I'm only excited about more chances to drink while this show is on and gif Fiona, tbh.

They should just spin-off the show. Keep him in Miami, or have him locate to a new city where he can be BAMF with Fi, Sam, and Jesse. As much as I like Mama W, her scenes are too shoe-horned in
