I work right by O'Hare and I can see Air Force One just chilling when I look out my office window. It's kind of cool. My co-worker was flipping out this morning and borrowed a spy glass from someone because she was trying to see if she could see the President. :-X

Yep! He's going to be at a big rally at McCormick Place tonight. I wish I could be there to be honest. I'm still upset that I worked election night last time and didn't get to be in Grant Park when he won. My cousin was there though and thought that I would drive downtown and pick her up at like 4:00 AM because the trains and busses were so backed up she couldn't get home. She was mistaken. :-X

This girl on my facebook (whose whole family is republican, and she did a speech in 11th grade on how the homeless should starve to death — no joke) said that her 5 year old son wanted her to vote for Obama because "he seems like a nice guy!" Adorable right? Well she posted about that on facebook and her mother in law, her GRANDSON'S GRANDMOTHER, said "I knew I always liked [her other son's name] more."

One of my ex republican friend's mom is running for the President Board of Education. I remember her complaining about the music program getting money to fix our shitty auditorium. I don't want her ass in charge of anything. I hope she drove pass the sign on my lawn that doesn't have her name on it. lol

Two of my exes and my mom are debating political shit on Facebook. Shoot me, ONTD.

One of my exes made a status update saying you have no right to complain if you don't vote. The other is a huge Ron Paul supporter and was all LOL NO, and my mom decided to chime in saying YES HUH, basically. I can't.

I came out to my parents last night, and I let them know I'm in a relationship with my ftm boyfriend. It went way better than I thought it would. My mom said she suspected we were dating. She started crying when I said that I would understand if they needed time to adjust. She said she just wants me to be happy. My Dad is pretty stoic, so I don't know how he's really taking things. They both gave me a hug before I left.

I was a bundle of nerves last night, so I played the fuck out of WoW when I got home.

I've been there. I had a decade of no relationships before this one.

Day 5 with no internet or television at home. This blows.

I'm so sad my dad's not voting for Obama ONLY because he is pro-gay rights. (My dad is a super Christian homophobe.) I love him and all, but I cannot convince that man to vote for Obama when he agrees or is content with Obama on just about EVERYTHING but Obama's stance on gay marriage.

But neither is he voting for Romney because he thinks Mormons are fake Chrsitians and that he's a huge flip flopper with no real agenda. He's voting Democrat for senate though and all other issues, so I guess WE'LL HAVE TO COMPROMISE. Ugh.

And I spent 2 1/2 hours at my precinct so there's no excuse for those eligible to not vote today! A ballot machine (not electronic, but the one you feed into the box) got jammed up and backed up the queue but they got it fixed up shortly and I voted without any problems. Just the long ass line because of fucking Rick Scott.

I have to wait until I get home at 5:30 to vote. I'm getting so antsy!

I was perusing the letters to the editors in the paper (Newsday in NY) this morning and they said they got a very overwhelmingly negative response to their Romney endorsement. It warmed my heart and restored my faith a bit ngl.

Ugh! Oh well, this is my first Election I voted in so I'm excited!
