When I saw the trailer in theatres, I thought it was supposed to be based on John Fowles The Collector and I was like ...but how?? lol.

Excited for this. Was surprised at how much I enjoyed the first one.

I really hate the word "torture porn" but this just comes off as derivative and trying to cash in on a fad that died two years ago.

I'm also baffled that Dunstan and Melton are such hot shits in Hollywood right now given the work they've put out-- I mean they're doing rewrites on Guillermo del Toro's film.

It looks like it'll be the gory/torture type horror that I really don't care for...

I liked the first. Will watch this as soon as it's in decent quality online because I just know they won't be showing this in theaters in my country

oh shit, i just watched the first one online the other day! then got my mail the next morning and forgot i ordered it from zip.ca lol. still worth it, i mean, someone knows there was interest. it`s soooo good and josh is really fascinating, i was just turned off for a while by the cat`s death. animals ALWAYS die in movies now, but it`s usually pretty quick or just referenced. this one, you see it suffering for a while, it`s hurt worse when the hero tries to save it, and then it`s killed by a trap. fuck off with that shit tbh hollywood. demean women or torture animals, you are simply not allowed to do both.
