Chibbs better be ok cuz I swear I'll be done if he's not.
twilight_la_fae 31st-Oct-2012 11:12 pm (UTC)
I know that if they follow the Hamlet model, than Jax, Gemma and Tara are fucked, so I'm not holding out for a happy ending for them.

All I want out of this show is Chibs and Juice to ride away into the sunset, bros for life.
ch33rylips 31st-Oct-2012 11:20 pm (UTC)
Omg Juice I love how he was all worried about ppl finding out his daddy is black and irony of all ironies nobody gives a fuck.
hardcoreninja11 31st-Oct-2012 11:20 pm (UTC)
Same here. Chibs and Juice are like sunshine and rainbows to me.

lexiesloan 31st-Oct-2012 10:41 pm (UTC)
I have no idea what's wrong with me. I keep forgetting it's Tuesday. The last episode I watched was Opie's wake.

Spoil me, please!
labellavitaaa 1st-Nov-2012 11:29 pm (UTC)
Holy shit I'm on season 3. Opie dies???? D:
ch33rylips 31st-Oct-2012 10:41 pm (UTC)
This season has been so pointless idk how the ratings are going up.
vanhrh 31st-Oct-2012 11:09 pm (UTC)
Kurt should be happy.
lauracoy 1st-Nov-2012 01:27 am (UTC)
I'm so frustrated with it, because besides one or two amazingly shocking eps... It's just circling the same shit and they're all getting on my nerves now. LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES and for the love of FUCK stop taking Clay's word on things!!!!
thisknife 1st-Nov-2012 06:22 pm (UTC)
I thought last nights ep was a step in the right direction, movement wise. I just hope next week is a step further in the right direction, and no fucking around (as in Gemma and Clay are back together..quite frankly - they deserve each other).
mirallegro 31st-Oct-2012 10:48 pm (UTC)
i cant stand jax anymore. he's irritating af with his ~tough guy w/ a sensitive soul~ bs. that gemma and tara scene tho was BEAUTIFUL. this season needs more gemma/tara.
vanhrh 31st-Oct-2012 11:13 pm (UTC)
I know Tara is pissed off at Gemma, and she should be, but I need them to be on the same side being bad bitches together. I dont think it will happen anytime soon, though.
lauracoy 1st-Nov-2012 01:27 am (UTC)
Her hand is never gonna heal if she keeps smacking bitches with that cast lol!
thisknife 1st-Nov-2012 06:23 pm (UTC)
I think he's losing the sensitive soul part since Opie died.
shortliljackers 31st-Oct-2012 10:49 pm (UTC)
ugh, i keep meaning to start watching this show.

is anyone else using firefox and videos just look like pictures...like you can't click on them to play??
ch33rylips 31st-Oct-2012 11:00 pm (UTC)
Nope.
ilouboutin 31st-Oct-2012 11:03 pm (UTC)
i'm on chrome and gifs don't work anymore :(
teamdowney 4th-Nov-2012 06:47 am (UTC)
SAME HERE. And a lot of times ONTD gifs make my Chrome freeze up or go really slow. It's lame.
hardcoreninja11 31st-Oct-2012 11:13 pm (UTC)
Nope. My firefox is working fine.
holypotatoes1 31st-Oct-2012 11:27 pm (UTC)
Like none of your videos are showing up as playable? That happened to me a few weeks ago and I tried updating Flash and it did nothing. Then I updated Firefox and it fixed everything so I'd try that. ;)
mend 31st-Oct-2012 10:53 pm (UTC)
I just.. don't get this season. idk
ilouboutin 31st-Oct-2012 10:57 pm (UTC)
QUEEN TARA IN THE BUILDING.
vanhrh 31st-Oct-2012 11:21 pm (UTC)
Love her.
shiningautumn 31st-Oct-2012 11:49 pm (UTC)
none of us are worthy !
thisknife 1st-Nov-2012 06:24 pm (UTC)
I love her! I don't understand the people who don't like her!?!
ciao_bella315 31st-Oct-2012 10:57 pm (UTC)
Are they dealing with the Italians now?
lit_chick08 1st-Nov-2012 12:48 am (UTC)
No, Frankie was just a Nomad. They're still dealing with the Irish for guns, the cartel for coke, Damon Pope gets half the action for agreeing not to kill them all, and now they're in business with Jimmy Smits running a brothel.

So basically they're in with everyone but the Italians.
vanhrh 31st-Oct-2012 11:07 pm (UTC)
This was the first great episode of the season for me besides 'Laying Pipe'
Jax is giving no fucks, it's scary but great at the same time.
I'm even more certain than ever Juice is going to die.
I'm glad Chibs didn't die.

That ultimatum Jax gave Gemma at the end made my skin crawl, but that was such a great scene.

I'm anxious to see how this whole thing will turn out.
twilight_la_fae 31st-Oct-2012 11:08 pm (UTC)
Jax is kind of scaring me tbh. The scene with the prison guard had me screaming- it took so long jfc.
vanhrh 31st-Oct-2012 11:26 pm (UTC)
Not only was it long but, so umcomfortable. When they started circling him before they beat him uhhhh!
ilouboutin 31st-Oct-2012 11:34 pm (UTC)
it was like a sadistic game of "duck duck goose". and that fucking music from the snowglobe didn't help.
twilight_la_fae 31st-Oct-2012 11:07 pm (UTC)
So glad they didn't drag out that Gemma lie- and good for Jax finally being ahead of Clay for once.

Worried about Chibs and Juicy tho. I knew that that whole repo thing wasn't going to die and leave Juice off the hook. He needs to go to Jax, cause Clay is going to get him killed.
shiningautumn 31st-Oct-2012 11:50 pm (UTC)
as much as i love juice i'm ready for him to die, that shit w/ miles last season was so messy and unnecessary.
vanhrh 1st-Nov-2012 12:04 am (UTC)
I love Juice, but I agree.
thisknife 1st-Nov-2012 06:26 pm (UTC)
Yes, agree with all of this!

If they kill Chibs tho.. </3
hardcoreninja11 31st-Oct-2012 11:12 pm (UTC)
This season is not my favorite but I'm still enjoying every episode. I like (from a story-telling POV) how everything is slowly beginning to spiral out of control and people are losing themselves in ways we never expected and they themselves never wanted. I think I find the most interesting aspect is how Jax is becoming exactly what his father and his manifesto fought so hard to prevent from happening and I don't even think he realizes it. Jax has always been sort of an aggressive rebel but Opie's death was the last straw that has sparked something flammable in him that he's now becoming dark and brutal, and the expressions on his club's faces after he does shit is proof they see it too. Sometimes I even see Jax resembling Clay by his actions.

I'm so disappointed in Gemma I just can't even handle it. You'd think at this point that everyone in that family, that whole fucking club, would stop keeping secrets about certain shit and be honest. I understand Gemma was scared but I couldn't believe she was gonna follow Clay's lie and let Jax carry that guilt and believe he was the cause of her accident. I don't want them to banish her completely from their family but I felt Tara earned that sock to the face she gave Gemma. I would have too.

I'm anxious for what "plan" Jax has to out Clay. Those talks he had with his mom and Clay in the final scenes were so shady, I can't even guess what shit he has up his sleeve. But it seems like whatever it is, his mom could probably be collateral damage and I doubt he even cares. Come back to the light, Jax.

IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO CHIBS OR JUICE IN THIS SHOW, I'M DONE. Kill Tig or Bobby or Phil or Unser, I don't care. Chibs and Juice or all that matter. AND FOR THE LOVE OF THE GODS IF CLAY ISN'T DEAD BY THE FINALE, I'M GOING TO MURDER SOMEONE.
tingyin 1st-Nov-2012 12:07 am (UTC)
I agree with everything you said and especially appreciate your perspective in the first paragraph. I felt "done" with Jax after last night because he's so far from his original motivations (Tara, his boys, leaving the club), but WHY he's so far gone is important.

However, remembering WHY these characters are behaving this way is difficult bc Kurt Sutter isn't great at showing why. I feel like characters' motivations are taken for granted even though the men are in a brotherhood together. I'm just really butthurt over Clay's flimsy "I just want my fuckin' retirement jackpot" reasons. If he doesn't have Gemma he doesn't have a retirement. And where would he go? I can't really picture Clay twirling his moustache in the Seychelles.

I'm excited that Jax is playing Gemma and Clay against each other to hopefully benefit himself, but like you I've no idea what else he'll do.

CHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIBS. He better be alive and well gdi. Juice is a cutie pie but LOOK AT YOUR LIFE LOOK AT YOUR CHOICES. Filthy Phil can stay because he's a ray of light, man. Such a decent brother, man.
hardcoreninja11 1st-Nov-2012 12:44 am (UTC)
Exactly. Even though some of the things any of the characters do may piss me off, in the long run I always remember what they've been through lately or over the seasons that has caused them to make stupid choices. That's why I kind of side-eye some of the raging angry people on here who comment sometimes about Sutter ruining shit for shock value and he's a bad writer and that they're done with the show. I'm always like "Really?". I know this whole show is a work of fiction but the foundation of this kind of lifestyle and the kind of people that live in it is close to home for Sutter and he knows a lot more than we do. Some of the violent acts committed and the danger and the internal transformations of a person involved in that kind of world... I have no doubt the show mirrors closely to the reality. This show has it's crappy moments, I won't deny it, but I don't think it's anywhere that bad enough to be like "Fuck it. I'm done".

Like my current frustration with Gemma right now. Yeah, what's going on with her and the things she's doing are annoying me immensely, but I'm saying that from a fan's standpoint of who she used to be. When I step back and think about it though, how she's spiraling downward makes so much sense with what's happened to her in her particular life, being in the club and all. Same goes for Jax. I'm not liking the darkness he's moving towards but it's not like you can blame him, what with all the club/family deaths and treachery from Clay and the pressure from the business side of his club, etc. As a fan of Jax, I hate it. But it's some entertaining storytelling nonetheless.
pacificway 1st-Nov-2012 01:25 am (UTC)
Late the the party, but I was telling the friend who got me to watch SOA in the first place that we barely have ever seen them "on top", or "living the high life" from the very first ep.

I have always been intrigued b/c you have shit raining down on the Club from the very first - and to me, story-telling wise, that's interesting, and has kept the tension up from the very beginning.

This isn't my fave season (but my least fave is the Irish season as I call it), and I feel we're running low on Sons, but Jimmy Smits helps. :-)

justmyowl 31st-Oct-2012 11:13 pm (UTC)
my stomach was in my throat watching that chibs scene.

scared for gemma tbh, i think that ultimatum was ridiculous and i liked her with nero, i was hoping he'd help her clean up her act/get her out of clay's grasp.

somehow i feel like sutter is going to tease us again all season with clay getting what he deserves...and then he will get away with everything. i just have a feeling i won't be satisfied with whatever he ends up doing to clay.

also, wasn't really catching what happened on the rooftop with the guy from the driveby. so some rival gang hired them two to take out jax? who/what/when/where/why? rip that dude.
twilight_la_fae 31st-Oct-2012 11:15 pm (UTC)
Frankie the Diamond hired them, by which I mean, Clay hired them to make it look like Pope was involved in the break-ins.

At this point, if something bad is happening to Jax, blame Clay. ;)
shiningautumn 31st-Oct-2012 11:52 pm (UTC)
i haven't even seen this week's episode (damn power outage!!!) but lbr clay ain't going anywhere this season imo
justmyowl 31st-Oct-2012 11:19 pm (UTC)
ALSO one thing i have always thought about this show and it certainly remained true last night, they have the best songs in each episode. A++, music director people.
ilouboutin 31st-Oct-2012 11:21 pm (UTC)
and, yeah, i'll say it: i wouldn't care if gemma died.

so over this "i'm a fuck up. sorry. love me." bullshit with her.
shiningautumn 1st-Nov-2012 12:15 am (UTC)
i would love for gemma to bounce back from this pit she's in but i think that would defeat the purpose of this show, which is to show the slow destruction/decomposition of anything good or decent about these people. she was never my fave (that would be tara) so tbh i wouldn't mind seeing her go out, although i hope it's in a blaze of glory.
thisknife 1st-Nov-2012 06:28 pm (UTC)
She is so deceitful - just to get her way. I want her to stick around until Jax finds out that she had a hand in John's death. I'm hoping she doesn't stay on until the show ends just because her husband is the creator.
ladybozi 31st-Oct-2012 11:24 pm (UTC)
Whenever I think my life is getting real shitty.. I just think of Gemma Teller and say, "Eh.....it could be worse."

Also, I feel like Juice is next to die and I don't want that! Jax is going insane murdering everything and I think the club is getting kind of scared.
vanhrh 31st-Oct-2012 11:33 pm (UTC)
As soon as Juice started talking to Clay, I said to myself ”he is going to die”

Clay wouldn't be Clay, without using this information to his benefit.
ladybozi 31st-Oct-2012 11:54 pm (UTC)
I know right. : /

I want just jump in the SHOW to smack Juice and be like," Look at your life! look at your life choices!!! Look at WHO you are confiding in!!" Then make out with him.
princssnikki2 1st-Nov-2012 02:49 am (UTC)
I hope not. I feel like we're losing too many Sons. If he keeps it up, we won't have anyone left.

Although I guess that would follow along the Hamlet storyline.
