Ke$ha has said that working with Iggy Pop was "the best day of my life"
The popstar collaborated on a song with the legendary ex-Stooges frontman on 'Warrior', her upcoming new album.
Speaking to Capital FM, the singer said recording with the 65-year-old was "insane", and that she was "flattered" by his desire to work with her.
She said of the experience: "It was like the best day of my life probably. He's such a god to me, that being in the same room as him was emotional."
She continued: "It was amazing because, for me, saying something nice about someone, that's being polite. But to actually [work]... with someone that's putting both of your names and making a piece of art together, you kind of have to respect one another for that.
"So I obviously respect the hell out of him, but for him to respect me enough to actually put his name on something and collaborate with me was incredibly flattering as an artist."
Ke$ha has shared details on the song before, saying: "The song I did with Iggy Pop is just me and Iggy Pop screaming about sex for three minutes."
The 25-year-old recently released a lyric video for latest single 'Die Young', which caused a Twitter panic after some believed the '#RIPKesha' messages tweeted by users were in fact referring to the singer's death.

Yup, I definitely want to hear 'Dirty Love' more than ever now. That's the title of their collab.
