Once Upon A Time 2x07 stills

“Child of the Moon” – Ruby’s fear about turning into a wolf during the first curse-free Storybrooke full moon is confirmed when one of the town’s residents is viciously murdered, and Ruby is the prime suspect; Decker – aka King George – threatens to expose David as a shepherd, not a prince, and not fit to run the town as sheriff; and Leroy stumbles upon some treasure in the Storybrooke mine that could help bring Mary Margaret and Emma back into our world. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Red Riding Hood finds a kindred spirit in Anita (Annabeth Gish), a charismatic and mysterious leader of a pack of humans who, like Red, turn out to be wolves.

Would most people really care about David being a shepherd tho? People like him because of who he is, not cause he was royalty. I haven't watched last night's ep tho idk if they already started that storyline.
bodyline 29th-Oct-2012 08:48 pm (UTC)
lol mte, no one is going to gaf. it's not like he killed the first prince, then i could see how it would be an issue, but um not now
happy_endings11 29th-Oct-2012 09:02 pm (UTC)
Not only that, but he married Snow who IS a princess. Therefore, in reality, he is now a prince.
mneiai 29th-Oct-2012 09:07 pm (UTC)
I'm hoping Charming ignores the threat, George reveals his 'true identity', and everyone is like lolwhatever. Because it really is pretty senseless--even if he started out as a shepherd, he was at the very least a warrior/leader in their world (ignoring the whole his-wife-is-a-princess thing).
breaktheice89 29th-Oct-2012 09:10 pm (UTC)
Lol mte, this show has so much forced drama sometimes
hardcoreninja11 29th-Oct-2012 09:15 pm (UTC)
I think George is just arrogant and overestimating the success of this plan, expecting people to give a crap and revolt like they probably would have back in their own land, feeling a sense of betrayal and whatnot.

However, after having their true selves awakened alongside the fake lives they had been living in Storybrooke, I'm sure their interest in the big reveal will won't matter at all in comparison to the bigger picture of everything going on. Like Regina being the bigger concern and with her being the reason they're all still trapped there.

Like, really? Shepard or not, James is still a good person willing to fight his ass off to make everyone happy and fix things.
hammersxstrings 29th-Oct-2012 09:22 pm (UTC)
this. i don't think it's going to work, especially since he's been handling everything so far. i do wonder how George is still alive since, you know, since when most people take over a kingdom the other king is usually killed in battle or something.

also, did none of the commoners/peasants/other people question WHY King George was fighting his son? I mean, I guess that has happened, where the son wants to take over for their father before he's dead, but no one questions it at all?
m_pendulum 29th-Oct-2012 10:27 pm (UTC)
Well it gives him no right to George's kingdom.
bodyline 29th-Oct-2012 08:47 pm (UTC)

arainymist 29th-Oct-2012 09:48 pm (UTC)
I love your icon :) shipping the hell out of them after last night's ep
hewontgo 29th-Oct-2012 09:58 pm (UTC)
thanks ;). it's never too late
advo 29th-Oct-2012 10:54 pm (UTC)
I approve of the new hot guy for Ruby. I wonder who he is though. Merlin maybe?
losviluppo 29th-Oct-2012 08:49 pm (UTC)
omfg it felt like it took me a year to get through season 1 on netflix. I watched the first ep of season 2 but I wasn't super impressed... is it worth continuing to watch, ontd?
hewontgo 29th-Oct-2012 08:50 pm (UTC)
yessssss
cruel_fortuna 29th-Oct-2012 08:52 pm (UTC)
It depends.
I watch the show for Rumple, Regina & the baddies personally.

I'd say it's worth continued viewing - if just for the nice eye-candy.

( I genuinely enjoy the show too though but when I'm trying to argue in defense of the show - my main gambit is usually the man/woman who are easy on the eyes. )
sparkysparky 29th-Oct-2012 08:52 pm (UTC)
I'm really liking it so far. The new characters are great.
grotesque_xxx 29th-Oct-2012 08:52 pm (UTC)
yes ;D keep going
bodyline 29th-Oct-2012 08:54 pm (UTC)
yeah, eps 4 and 5 are gr8
dirrtypony 29th-Oct-2012 08:58 pm (UTC)
hmm honestly i skip a lot of shit but the stuff i do watch i enjoy.
ladybozi 29th-Oct-2012 09:03 pm (UTC)
I honestly think S2 is better than S1.
mneiai 29th-Oct-2012 09:08 pm (UTC)
If you're into fairytales and/or Disney, it's very fun. As a show itself, I think it's mediocre, but most shows are, so that's not really an issue imo. If you have the time, you might as well continue.
weber_dubois22 29th-Oct-2012 10:57 pm (UTC)
Honestly, I watch the show sometimes just to sink my critical teeth into it. It hardly ever passes the 'quality' test.
hardcoreninja11 29th-Oct-2012 09:17 pm (UTC)
Yeah, it's worth it. Just don't take anything seriously at all. Embrace the cheese and ridiculous dialogue and the fairytale fun of it all. It's an enjoyable show to kick back and relax for.
allysouu 29th-Oct-2012 09:22 pm (UTC)
I mean it hasn't gotten much better so if season 1 was a struggle it will probably continue that way.
clairelittleton 29th-Oct-2012 09:24 pm (UTC)
season 2 is better than season 1. there were only maybe 5 episodes in season 1 that were actually good imo.
onceupon_awish 29th-Oct-2012 09:45 pm (UTC)
If you're going to watch it to try and figure out the meaning of life, then it's not worth it. But if you're only looking for a mindless fun, then it's greaaat. Personally, I love watching something that won't make me think to hard to figure it out sometimes, and this is a qt show ^_^
advo 29th-Oct-2012 10:56 pm (UTC)
Eh. For the storylines? Probably not. For the hot guys... hell yeah!
miakun 29th-Oct-2012 11:29 pm (UTC)
S2 so far is scores above S1. It's got the feel of the last few eps of S1 where they finally figured out what the hell they were doing.
_______awshucks 29th-Oct-2012 08:49 pm (UTC)
I miss August/Pinocchio
grotesque_xxx 29th-Oct-2012 08:52 pm (UTC)

Seriously? That soon?
zoaster_toaster 29th-Oct-2012 08:58 pm (UTC)
Me too, but I take some comfort that he's slated to come back later this season.
miakun 29th-Oct-2012 11:29 pm (UTC)
I WANT TO SEE HIS HUG WITH HIS DAD, DAMMIT.
sparkysparky 29th-Oct-2012 08:50 pm (UTC)
FUCK YES. Hf a Ruby centric episode!! The whole show should be Ruby centric tbh.
bellwetherr 29th-Oct-2012 08:51 pm (UTC)
This looks pretty great. Red is such an interesting character.
_dennis_csi_ 29th-Oct-2012 08:51 pm (UTC)
oh finally a red/ruby centric episode
sparkysparky 29th-Oct-2012 08:52 pm (UTC)
mte!
mhfromnh 29th-Oct-2012 10:40 pm (UTC)
not Red/Ruby. Ruby-Red.
asha_greyjoy 29th-Oct-2012 08:53 pm (UTC)
i dont even get the point of pointing out that dad is was a shepard, when the first prince wouldn't have been royalty either since he was his brother.
sparkysparky 29th-Oct-2012 08:53 pm (UTC)
the fairytale land stills look like a stage production of Into the Woods or something. I like it.
goofusgallant 29th-Oct-2012 08:53 pm (UTC)
I'm ready for a Red/Ruby episode.
sparkysparky 29th-Oct-2012 08:54 pm (UTC)
my body is ready for Red tbh.
gogeta1 29th-Oct-2012 09:00 pm (UTC)
same
hemsworth 29th-Oct-2012 10:06 pm (UTC)
ikr i love ruby so much so i've been waiting for another ruby centric episode.
sheriffgraham 29th-Oct-2012 08:54 pm (UTC)
Ruby is flawless, she deserves to get all the centric episodes

still needs more Graham tho
sparkysparky 29th-Oct-2012 08:54 pm (UTC)
I miss Graham. </3 for killing him off.
sheriffgraham 29th-Oct-2012 08:58 pm (UTC)
right?!?!? how could they kill my baby off tbh?

rip Graham, you're preventing crime up in heaven now.
grotesque_xxx 29th-Oct-2012 08:57 pm (UTC)
but Graham will retunr in some ep. in flashbacks
bodyline 29th-Oct-2012 09:01 pm (UTC)
only if he doesn't speak tbh
breaktheice89 29th-Oct-2012 09:07 pm (UTC)
Since last nights ep they have such a great opportunity to bring him back, they're stupid if they don't use it imo
ty_slilreject 29th-Oct-2012 09:50 pm (UTC)
Ugh, that beautiful man.
anitakkkat 29th-Oct-2012 10:34 pm (UTC)
I agree with this whole comment, I miss Graham <3
dedebee 29th-Oct-2012 08:57 pm (UTC)
David in that leather jacket is giving me all kinds of warm feelings.
dirrtypony 29th-Oct-2012 08:59 pm (UTC)
ruby is so underused in this show.
dumpyfledgling 29th-Oct-2012 09:00 pm (UTC)
I've been reading a lot about Community & the thought just hit me. Allison Brie would have looked perfect as Belle.
bodyline 29th-Oct-2012 09:02 pm (UTC)
oh god no
dumpyfledgling 29th-Oct-2012 09:03 pm (UTC)
I don't think she would act as Belle, she just looks like how I would expect Belle to look in reality.
hardcoreninja11 29th-Oct-2012 09:05 pm (UTC)
Hmm. I kind of like this.

I will never not hate them for casting Emilie for Belle and letting her keep her accent. Emilie sucks as an actress and she only makes Belle worse on top of how the writers have already ruined her character to begin with.

Forever pressed. Belle was my fav.
lokiyan 29th-Oct-2012 09:23 pm (UTC)
She looks more like a brunette Ariel face-wise.

Brown eyes don't get enough love.
clairelittleton 29th-Oct-2012 09:25 pm (UTC)
newp.
xcollsangelx 29th-Oct-2012 11:20 pm (UTC)
Please god no.

rabbitncavylove 30th-Oct-2012 02:25 am (UTC)
something about her irks me
