oohasparklie 29th-Oct-2012 04:14 pm (UTC)
Man for that interrogation scene alone, they're getting their Emmys next year. That scene was stunning. I don't think I breathed through the entire thing.
thistle_chaser 30th-Oct-2012 02:15 pm (UTC)
That scene was so amazing. I just watched the ep last night. I think my jaw was on the floor the whole time. The two of them. Amazing. I have no other words.
aujourlejour 29th-Oct-2012 03:11 am (UTC)
DO THE RIGHT THING, DANA. DON'T COVER THIS DOWNGRADE'S PRIVILEGED ASS. XANDER NEVER WOULD HAVE PUT YOU INTO THIS POSITION.
mammary_glands 29th-Oct-2012 03:19 am (UTC)
dana and psycho jr are both horrible though
stellarlyssa 29th-Oct-2012 03:32 am (UTC)
I absolutely love Dana. To each their own! nhf this storyline, though, unless she turns him in
browniecakemix 29th-Oct-2012 04:49 am (UTC)
aaahhhh I'm watching the episode rn and omg she's totally complicit in what happened imo but aaahhhh that was hard to watch :(
ms_mmelissa 29th-Oct-2012 05:15 am (UTC)
lol the whole time I was watching the Dana/Finn scenes I kept thinking of how the girl who plays Dana said she liked being around him cause they're almost the same age whereas Xander is 24.

MTE
syzygy09 29th-Oct-2012 03:12 am (UTC)
I trust you Homeland, but this has the potential to go south very quickly.
ztrellitaa 29th-Oct-2012 03:14 am (UTC)
Agreed. Brody is a shitty terrorist, and this preview shows that he just won't be able to handle anything else.
stellarlyssa 29th-Oct-2012 03:18 am (UTC)
Honestly, I've thought after almost every episode that things could fall apart/get out of hand immediately, and the writers haven't let me down yet. So I'm just trying to relax and go with it--as much as relaxation is possible when watching Homeland...
syzygy09 29th-Oct-2012 03:25 am (UTC)
this Dana storyline though...IDK
we_eat_coldcuts 29th-Oct-2012 03:36 am (UTC)
I know, I see Brody in a leather jacket on water skis, I'm just hoping that boat engine doesn't start up.

I'm so worried this is going to end badly. Someone on here earlier tonight was complaining that the Dana shit was boring, but I don't think I'm hft shit.
fred2265 29th-Oct-2012 12:51 pm (UTC)
Agreed..
aglows 29th-Oct-2012 03:12 am (UTC)

THIS FLAWLESS WOMAN.
ztrellitaa 29th-Oct-2012 03:13 am (UTC)
I punched my screen at some point, damn you Brody.

Also, without fail whenever I'm seeing Homeland live someone has to come knock and ask me to take their BP. Seriously pissed I missed part of the interrogation.

Who was that woman on the ground? Also QUINN YOU CRAZY. I DON'T TRUST YOU.
lkool98 29th-Oct-2012 03:13 am (UTC)
Every. Emmy.
Give it to them.
supertex 29th-Oct-2012 03:14 am (UTC)

stellarlyssa 29th-Oct-2012 03:14 am (UTC)
This fucking show. What an amazing episode. Every scene Carrie and Brody share is just incredible.
plugmebaby 29th-Oct-2012 10:22 am (UTC)
i actually thought this was a boring ep :/ didnt the actress for dana say this would be one of the most exciting?
idk id been studying all day with a mean headache ill just blame it on that :(
ciao_bella315 29th-Oct-2012 03:15 am (UTC)
This episode was crazy good. I wish Dana and Finn hitting that person wasn't in the story though. I wanted one innocent relationship
roguedandelion 29th-Oct-2012 08:21 am (UTC)
yeah. I wanted them to be sweet and bond, at least for a bit.
foxylov3r 29th-Oct-2012 03:15 am (UTC)
*avoids spoilers*

link pleeeeeeeeeease
freak1sh_ndazed 29th-Oct-2012 03:35 am (UTC)

foxylov3r 29th-Oct-2012 03:58 am (UTC)
tysm!!!
zurbraran 29th-Oct-2012 03:16 am (UTC)
OMG what happened to Dana? Wait, don't tell me.

OK, tell me.

It involved Finn, didn't it? I knew that "goodnight, Sally" text was a sign of his shadiness.
stellarlyssa 29th-Oct-2012 03:24 am (UTC)
Dana and Finn went out on a date and Dana was feeling moody about her dad, so she egged him on to "have some fun" which meant driving crazily through alleys to lose his security team. Then they hit a woman--she doesn't look dead, but it's serious. Then he convinced Dana that they should drive away. Privileged rich kid behavior, shady as fuck. I hope she turns him in.
zurbraran 29th-Oct-2012 03:32 am (UTC)
Oh, wow. Although it's interesting that Dana's ability to spill the beans gives her, and by extension, Brody, leverage with the VP if/when the truth about Brody hits the fan.
freak1sh_ndazed 29th-Oct-2012 03:16 am (UTC)
I watched the first season and caught up with the second season this week, so this was the first episode I was able to watch live. I love this show so much! It deserves all the awards and praise it's getting.
cass_star 29th-Oct-2012 03:54 am (UTC)
This first sentence describes me. But I find the show so annoying and filled with cop outs you can see coming a mile away. I always seem to be on the other side of the majority with any TV show. The only actors I'm willing to give kudos to are Morena Baccharin and Morgan Saylor (wife and daughter).

That said, I haven't seen this episode yet and last episode I said "FINALLY."
freak1sh_ndazed 29th-Oct-2012 04:38 am (UTC)
For me, Claire Danes and Damian Lewis sealed their next Emmy wins with this episode. I admit that there have been some cop outs in this show, but they handle it so well and I like that they don't drag things out.
ms_mmelissa 29th-Oct-2012 05:18 am (UTC)
Ugh, I hated last seasons season finale. It was so obvious Brody wasn't going to go through with it so I kind of resented my time being wasted like that. Although this was a better long term reveal of Brody being a terrorist than if he had just exploded himself, but I still think the writers could have gotten to the point in a way that felt less cheap.
mammary_glands 29th-Oct-2012 03:16 am (UTC)
well, fuck.

this season has kinda been predictable so far, but they do such a good fucking job of it. this episode was sooooooo good. WHY HOW WHY?
jennitarox 29th-Oct-2012 04:13 pm (UTC)
That's my biggest problem with the show, it's so predictable sometimes. Brody's whole storyline is like that
