It's really not a huge embarrassment for him. The "fringe" that he is a part of are bigger than ever and to a large segment of the population, shit shit he is pulling is fine and just.
I think some of us here live in our own bubble where we can all point at this shit and how ridiculous it all is, but lose sight of the fact that there are a bunch of people who are totally into this.

what bothered me a lot about trumps vid also was when he was listing off the different charities like ~to the charity of your choice...inner city kids in chicago, cancer, aids/hiv relief~

Though can I say: driving around my area, I saw signs for one Robert Menendeze that said "Defeat the Teaparty, Support Menedeze / Obama" I was really proud, ngl. Teabaggers are, for the most part, the worst of the bunch.

It still boggles my mind how he and many others are not in jail.
People see through it but are too afraid to call it out on TV. At least the Daily Show called it blackmail.
