The Vampire Diaries: Episode 4.05 – The Killer (Stills)


Sometimes the enemy of your enemy is your friend and this has happened several times before on The Vampire Diaries.


In an upcoming episode titled "The Killer", Stefan is forced to align himself with Klaus against Connor: "Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) form an uneasy alliance to try and contain the danger that Connor (guest star Todd Williams) has unleashed on the town. When Connor takes Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), Matt (Zach Roerig) and April (guest star Grace Phipps) hostage at the Grill, Stefan and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) have a serious disagreement about the best course of action, and Elena (Nina Dobrev) is again caught between the two brothers. The situation quickly turns violent when Klaus sends one of his hybrids, Dean (guest star Blake Hood, “The Young and the Restless”) to stand up to Connor. Caroline (Candice Accola) is surprised to find Hayley (guest star Phoebe Tonkin) at the Lockwood mansion. Meanwhile, Professor Shane (guest star David Alpay) works with Bonnie (Kat Graham) to help her get past  her fear and guilt."

But then everyone in the main cast would have character arcs that are *gasp* character driven, the plot would be coherent and there would be no goddamn love triangles.

also, i love stefan and elena together. damon is selfish and unreliable and however attracted she is to him, he always screws her over and doesn't give a shit about anything that doesn't benefit him. i still remember when he got pissed off and killed jeremy; they never talk about that shit anymore. who could be attracted to someone who murdered their brother in front of them? seriously?

Trevino and Somerhalder are starting to look ooold. On the show at least. They need to let those men show off the scruff. (I kinda get why they don't with Michael, but not with Ian.)

Group meetings are now taking place at the Lockwood mansion instead of Casa Salvatore! I like.

NHF stupid jealousy arcs, though. I miss when this show used to be about trying to take down mortal but effective villains through team work.

Eugh Damon looks older and older each time I see him. Which is a shame, since he's not supposed to age *shrug*

Thank God I have American Horror Story for my horror/sci-fi fix. This show is a dead duck in the water. See synopsis :/
