Pharrell Williams Calls Kendrick Lamar "This Era's Bob Dylan"



The hype surrounding Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d city is growing by the day and rightfully so as we approach the release date Monday. Today Pharrell gave his endorsement as he is set to appear on the project's track, "Good Kid." The producing legend noted "[Kendrick Lamar] is this era's Bob Dylan. Masterful story telling. Listen to it, it will elevate you. And just like that music has changed."

Even given his own review of the project, "[Kendrick Lamar] Sick hooks, beats, perspective and zero MSG. Individuality always wins. Goodnight me too's and blendinables. #OTHER"

I think he still produces here and there. He did a track with Yuna. The name escapes my mind at the moment, but it's a good song. He also has his online channel 'iamother' which produces Awkward Black Girl.

he is still producing, he's just not guesting on every single track like in 03/04 lol. he also got engaged this year and is still doing a lot with his clothing labels bbc and icecream (just relaunched their skate team TEAM ICECREAM this month and are starting to sell shiz in skate shops like zumies). and like shy_mse said, he has his youtube channel i am OTHER. he ain't sleepin just yet!!
