Halle Berry is red hot in a Calvin Klein Collection dress on the cover of InStyle‘s November 2012 issue, on newsstands October 19.
Here is what the 46-year-old Cloud Atlas actress had to share with the mag:
On her fiance Olivier Martinez: “When I first met Olivier, there wasn’t the initial ‘I’m in love!’ It was something that grew more gradually—and it feels more real because of that. [Marriage] is another one of those never-say-never things. I’m a hopeless romantic, and I won’t stop till I get it right!”
On her short hair: “I think I am at my best when my hair is short. It’s easier to take care of and more of who I am. Women are conditioned to think we need long hair. I see that happening with my daughter. She is so in love with her hair right now. She says, ‘Look, Mommy—it’s so long!” As women, we think it defines us, and we learn that at a young age.”
On what she’s learned through the growth of her career and aging: “Throughout my career I have been talked out of things I wanted to do, and when I look back I think, I should have followed my instincts. I relied on others to guide me because I thought they knew better. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned to trust myself. Don’t stress about your age or fight it. Appreciate the young women who look like you once did, but don’t strive to be like them. You’re moving into a new phase of your life—embrace it. That’s what I hope to do.”

But it's always that "boys don't like short hair" stigma.
I keep seeing all these women with long hair and feel like I should grow mine out when really I look better with it shoulder length.
I just cut mine all off! I think my stylist thought I was crazy, she didn't seem to really want to do it. lol
and the child endangerment case filed against gabriel by a former nanny was already dismissed in march

All she cared about with her hit and run was a tiny scar she received on her face.
Anyone who shacks up with her is just asking for it. I have no sympathy for them at this point. Her behavior is well documented.

I am beyond excited for her roles in CA!
Too bad about her career.
she can retire from hollywood, and still live off Revlon money.

If you have long hair because you yourself love having it, that's probably OK with Halle. I'm sure she doesn't mind.
