Celebs certainly are interesting when it comes to revealing info on their pregnancies, births and babies. Some, like Adele, keep the details tightly under wraps. Megan Fox didn’t even announce her son’s birth until nearly a month after he was born, and Uma Thurman waited several months before letting the public know her daughter’s (loooooooong) name.

Then there are those who are more than happy to share. Shakira trumpeted the news on her website that she and boyfriend Gerard Pique are expecting their first child together.

A couple of weeks ago, the pop idol and Voice judge further let slip that they’re going to have a boy: Looking at pictures of an interviewer’s son, she said, “He’s going to be able to play with mine.”

And now she’s spilling the beans on the name they’ve chosen!

The Puerto Rican newspaper El Nuevo Dia (as reported by The Huffington Post and elsewhere) reports that soccer star Gerard was the one who suggested the name.

And no, it has nothing to do with a certain actress/bride-to-be named Jessica. The name, of Catalan origin, is a nickname for Gabriel, which means “God is my strength.”

So what’s your take? Is Biel a cute name, strong, trendy or just meh?
