'Apartment 23' Sets Romantic 'Happy Endings' Crossover
ABC's sophomore comedy Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 is tipping its hat to its new Tuesday night companion, Happy Endings, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The comedy from Nahnatchka Khan and David Hemingson will feature a crossover to the third-year comedy in its Oct. 30 Halloween episode when June (Dreama Walker) has some fun creating a YouTube video featuring a certain bitch.
"It's basically a video like fans make on YouTube with clips of The X-Files where Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) fall in love," Khan told THR on Tuesday at a Paley Center event featuring both shows. "June has made a video of Chloe (Krysten Ritter) and one of the Happy Endings guys falling in love."
The comedies relocate from Wednesdays to Tuesdays starting Oct. 23 at 9 p.m. with the third season of Happy Endings followed by James Van Der Beek starrer Apartment 23.
"They were super nice and let us shoot a little thing with them. It's cool," Khan says of the show's new lead-in. "You'll have to see who she chooses."
The question remains: Is Chloe a Dave (Zachary Knighton), Max (Adam Pally) or Brad (Damon Wayans Jr.) type of girl in June's eyes? Hit the comments with your thoughts.

Dawson's Creek Reunion on Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23
The bitch is back. Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 returns to TV next week to follow up its short seven-episode first season, and Chloe (Krysten Ritter) is up to her mean schemes again, with James Van Der Beek, played by James Van Der Beek, still at her side.
The second season kicks off with an episode all about the attempts to put together a cast reunion for the show that made Van Der Beek famous, Dawson’s Creek. EW has an exclusive clip featuring the beginning of that storyline, plus a peek at what happens when you put Chloe and Vogue editor Anna Wintour in the same room. Check it out below (click the picture for the video)

James, as seen in the clip, is not at all eager for a Dawson's Creek reunion, but June (Dreama Walker) strokes his ego enough to convince him to put together a reunion himself.
"Things aren't going so well in June's life, so she really, really wants the reunion to happen because she feels like that would be the one thing going right in her life," Walker told EW when we were on set during the production of this episode.
Guest starring in the premiere is Dawson's alum Busy Philipps, along with Frankie Muniz and Mark-Paul Gosselaar, all playing themselves.
Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23's season 2 premiere airs on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 9:30 p.m.

LOL! See Krysten Ritter's Nude Mugshot for Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23
The bitch is back!
To promote the second season of the hit comedy Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23, a topless Krysten Ritter, 30, strikes a sultry pose in a fake mugshot recently released by ABC. The actress' costars, James Van Der Beek, 35, and Dreama Walker, 26, also pose for mugshots, though they both appear fully-clothed.
At the Paley Center for Media event honoring the show in Beverly Hills October 16, Van Der Beek -- who plays a satirized version of himself -- shared some secrets from the show's new season with Us Weekly.
"The premiere episode deals with the potential reality of a Dawson's Creek reunion. 'Fake James' has to figure out what that means to the legacy," the actor explained. "'Would it be good? Would it suck? Would everybody talk to him again?' These are all questions that need to be answers."
As it happens, Van Der Beek's former Dawson's Creek costar Busy Philipps, 33, will make a cameo in the episode. "In that same episode, Frankie Muniz will be on as himself, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar will stage a former teen idol intervention with me," he revealed.
As for Ritter? "I feel so honored to play this character," she told Us in June. "I get to be a complete bitch!"

There is never an episode where I don't rewind back to multiple scene 20 times to relive the hilarity and rewatch the episode 100 times before the next episode airs.
So excited for these shows to come back!
I saw Life Happens starring Krysten Ritter last night and let me just say that it was a mess. It had some endearing moments but my god it needed a lot of work.
I will say I don't know how long they can keep incorporating Dawson's Creek while remaining its own show. We'll see
Shitagi Nashi!
And now i'm caught up on Happy Endings.
I wish Happy Endings was getting more love outside ONTD though.
Ugh...The Happy Endings cast is doing a UCB show this weekend and when I tried to get tickets they were all sold out. And then I found out that my older brother bought 10 tickets and already gave them all away.
does it get better?
Can't wait for Apt23 though! Loved the first season.
Plus, she TOTALLY bailed on the Happy Endings/B in Apt23 panel last night (and I was so glad). Happy Endings cast and crew were amazing, friendly, lovable, and I may have offended James VDB by the amount of times I let them know it.
Sorry, I just HATE KR.
Spiel over. I got it out. And now, I'm probably going to get in a shitload of trouble, but whatever. It's the internet. Nothing comes back to you on the internet.
TOTAL LAUGH RATIO:
Happy Endings premiere - 1 laugh per minute, 1 fit of laughing tears per act
B in Apt 23 premiere - 1 laugh per act
I could never sit through Happy Endings though.
I'm so sad no one here has even heard of Happy Endings. I hope they'll keep playing it on tv when it comes back because it soooo deserves all the love/ratings.
and also oh my god, chloe/june. the show should really just end with them getting together tbh
