I haven't watched the show but from what i have seen, the mom seems pretty chill and a good mom. She's got a great sense of humour and she is aware that this type of fame is fleeting. I like that she put their money in a trust and doesn't care to capitalize on this fame in a tacky way. She seems like she just wants to take care of her family

my favourite comments are the ones that are concern trolling - 'i hate that they're being exploited' - june gets it. she really does, i promise. she knows what's up - she's in on the joke, as is the whole family. they're really close - i wish my family was more like theirs, tbh. the other thing is that the judging for capitalizing on their notoriety? why wouldn't you? it's not like they're going to suddenly become doctors or lawyers and pull in millions, get that money while you can.

I just watched all of the first season a few weeks ago, and I honestly think they are a great family. You can tell that they all genuinely love each other and it's fun to watch.

Honey Boo Boo is getting fatter in every appearance. June should take better care of Alana, at that rate they are not gonna win any pageants... Does Alana win pageants? I don't watch consistently...

She does not really win them. And I love this show and this family, but Alana's weight gain is very apparent.

june is a really good mom to those girls, and sugar bear is a great dad. people should stop complaining and let them happy folks live their lives and cash in for those education trustfunds!
