There was no Mountain Dew back where I'm from, so when I went to college in the US, I bought a 2 liter bottle and drank it in like 30 minutes. I felt so disgusting, dizzy and vowed to never drink Mountain Dew ever again.
My first time drinking Mountain Dew (they don't sell it here) was when i bought a can in an American food shop while out shopping on probably the hottest day of the year, downed it in five minutes, and felt like i was going to die. We went into this arcade and I just remember laying on some benches for some reason. I have drank it since but much slower ...
I used to drink an entire bottle of it every school day during lunch in high school. No wonder I had a spare tire back then; I never want to touch the stuff again.
In Canada it's illegal for non-brown beverages to have caffeine (if they aren't classified as energy drinks) so I have always wondered what real Mountain Dew tastes like! Maybe it's best I never know.
They are. I wish I had them as a kid instead of those cheap plastic ones that come in those little dollar store princess dress-up kits. They always broke within a week of me getting them.

that's the kinda thing you drink once every 3-6 months. or when you have to write a paper and you're reaaaally tired of coffee.
