And when the gang arrived back from rehearsals it was clear that they were more than happy to lap up the attention of the adoring fans.
District 3 singer Dan Ferrari-Lane was enjoying the female fans presence and was seen kissing the young girls and posing for pictures.
It appears the boy band member was eager to share the love and was seen smooching several different young girls.
Dan was also seen giving one friendly female a piggy back and didn't mind getting up close and personal with some of his first fans.
Despite only being in the public eye for a few weeks Dan has already attracted more than 68,000 followers on Twitter.
The band, which also include Mickey and Greg have over 100,000 fans on the social networking site.
Union J also proved popular with the girls and were given some cuddly toys from adoring girls.
The boys posed on the steps and put their hands into a heart shape to show their appreciation.
As well as writing notes for the boys some of the girls had also brought presents for the gang and appeared delighted at being recognised as the first fans of the group.
It wasn't just the boys that the crowd was waiting for - some of the fans were supporting female competitors on the show.
Jade Ellis took a different approach and encouraged her fans to copy her pulling a funny face with looking into the camera.
The mother-of-one was dressed in an all-in-one brown onesie with a cream scarf wrapped around her neck.
Essex poser Rylan Clark appeared somewhat standoffish and was seen waving to the fans as he made his way into the hotel.
Perhaps he was trying to stay focused to avoid being in the bottom two on next weekend's show.
