Creepy Robbie Takes On More ‘Paranormal Activity 4′ Clips

The latest clips from Paranormal Activity 4 showcase Creepy Robbie who’s the little boy that likes staring at Alice’s house and watching her levitate while sleeping. Check out the latest images and clips below.

Fingers crossed that ‘work in progress’ print that we saw at Fantastic Fest. Hopefully Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman will realize that there some rejiggering needed to make Paranormal Activity 4 live up to the standards that the previous ones have set. The print we saw was fine, but knowing what the Catfish duo did with an oscillating fan, they could definitely step it up a lot. The previous films have created a wondrous mythology, but that feels as if it was gutted with this one. Again, it was a ‘work in progress’, and I truly hope that more work is in progress on this film before it hits theaters in a couple weeks.

The clips below show more of Creepy Robbie and show how he likes popping up when things are getting creepy and crazy.

In the latest installment, the film delves into the family of witches who are living next door to Alice, who gets visits from little Hunter as you can see in the images below. The images are making people think that she’ll be terrorized by Hunter, but when you get into the movies, it’s usually a whole other story. Don’t be surprised if Hunter is stalking for good on October 19, 2012 when it hits theaters.

saikaro_x 9th-Oct-2012 02:08 am (UTC)
i thought it was a lot better and scarier than the second one, but the ending was SO DUMB.
vehiclesshockme 9th-Oct-2012 02:08 am (UTC)
Yeah it had some good moments but overall it was underwhelming. I didn't like the whole final act.
angelmonster 9th-Oct-2012 02:10 am (UTC)
The sheet scene with the babysitter scared the shit out of me.
rachelbojangles 9th-Oct-2012 02:42 am (UTC)
me2, i had serious anxiety during that part
gonexforgotten 9th-Oct-2012 03:08 am (UTC)
best part of the movie haha
oracularist 9th-Oct-2012 02:11 am (UTC)
I still don't understand what happened at the end of that movie
cickiz 9th-Oct-2012 02:13 am (UTC)
I think the second one was worse. Literally nothing happened until the last half hour.
brownxeyedxdork 9th-Oct-2012 02:15 am (UTC)
The fan scenes freaked me out.
soavantgarde 9th-Oct-2012 01:59 am (UTC)

am_shadows 9th-Oct-2012 02:00 am (UTC)
Toby is a strange name for a ghost/spirit/demon/thing.
redaodai 9th-Oct-2012 02:00 am (UTC)

On the sched tonight:
- La Casa 4/Witchery (with David Hasselhoff and Linda Blair)

isntdaveone 9th-Oct-2012 02:02 am (UTC)
what's that pic from???
redaodai 9th-Oct-2012 02:11 am (UTC)
They're just title shots I've copy and pasted into PS.
kapuki234 9th-Oct-2012 02:04 am (UTC)
was AMusement any good?
ellie_andrews 9th-Oct-2012 02:06 am (UTC)
Is Chained with Vincent D'onofrio or however you spell it?

We got it in at work and it sounds so disturbing.
redsprings 9th-Oct-2012 02:13 am (UTC)
The Ring Two though?
ludmi_83 9th-Oct-2012 02:32 am (UTC)
I want to see grave encounters 2 (i really enjoy the first one) and chernobyl diaries. And I just watch the trailer os dead before dawn and it looks so silly but fun movie I will watch.

landwarinasia 9th-Oct-2012 02:39 am (UTC)
omg Garfield's Halloween Adventure. I used to watch that every year and even had the comic book.
cuteej4 9th-Oct-2012 03:51 am (UTC)
I've decided to follow you and do a mini version of yours.

I pulled all my Halloween staples and scary movies from my collection (which is 27) and watch those. Once I finish those, I'm watching random scary movies from Netflix
conveythemelody 9th-Oct-2012 01:05 pm (UTC)
how was chernobyl diaries?
0oo_daphne_oo0 9th-Oct-2012 01:12 pm (UTC)
Shame on me for not seeing The Collector yet.
meltingxmoon 10th-Oct-2012 10:10 pm (UTC)

speedychi 14th-Oct-2012 06:27 am (UTC)

powerbottom 9th-Oct-2012 02:01 am (UTC)
Excision was fantastic, omg. I love Annalynne.
powerbottom 9th-Oct-2012 02:01 am (UTC)
I mean to reply to the post above, oops. I guess this works too though.
licorrice 9th-Oct-2012 02:01 am (UTC)
was PA3 any good? for reference, i enjoyed the first two very much.

also please recommend off-beat and lesser-known horror movies itt tyvm
fight4thislove 9th-Oct-2012 02:02 am (UTC)
if you like the first two, the third is the same. but it does delve further into where the demon came from. the 3rd one is easily the best of the series.
licorrice 9th-Oct-2012 02:11 am (UTC)
if it's like the first two then i will def enjoy, ty
astrologee 9th-Oct-2012 02:14 am (UTC)
it is oh my god, that whole movie i was kind of freaking out. for the last half i watched it through my scarf.
isntdaveone 9th-Oct-2012 02:03 am (UTC)
it's good if you're into witchcraft/ritual sacrifices/secret societies.
hershelwalker 9th-Oct-2012 02:05 am (UTC)
the 3rd sucked. the subtlety that made the first movie what it was is now nonexistent.
cickiz 9th-Oct-2012 02:14 am (UTC)
I liked the storyline in PA3 hahaha
soavantgarde 9th-Oct-2012 02:01 am (UTC)
also I've only ever seen the first PA but I was unimpressed

more excited for mama and silent hill revelation
fight4thislove 9th-Oct-2012 02:01 am (UTC)
My friend has screening passes for this next Weds and wants me to go 3 hours early with her so we can have the best seats.

I'm like...GURL. that is so unncessary.
kapuki234 9th-Oct-2012 02:02 am (UTC)
3 hours? what are you gonna do in the theatre for 3 hours? lol
fight4thislove 9th-Oct-2012 02:05 am (UTC)
girl its 2 1/2 hours of sitting in line to get into the screening and then a half hour in the theatre,

i'm like, show up 90 mins early tops and you'll still get in.
isntdaveone 9th-Oct-2012 02:04 am (UTC)
LOL, this is not the kind of movie you wait 3 hours at the moviep lace before it starts.
redaodai 9th-Oct-2012 02:09 am (UTC)
Tell her to go ahead and wait three hours in line and then you can show up 15 minutes before seating. Just kidding. Three hours is so unnecessary unless it's a tiny, tiny theater.
sparrowsrflying 9th-Oct-2012 02:42 am (UTC)
i went to the free screening last year and got there about an hour and a half or so before it started. there were a lot of people already in line by the time we got there but we still got in. so many people showed up and ended up not getting in that they held another free screening the following day for anyone that wasn't able to see it.
wickedchild_md 9th-Oct-2012 02:54 am (UTC)
Depends on the area and the movie. In 3.5 years as a box office cashier and having to tell people with passes, "Line is over there. No those are your tickets. Yes, that big line over there. It says first come, first serve. Talk to the people hosting the event. We're just the theatre you watch it in," you can never be sure which movie is going to bring a crowd or not.

Enjoying the game so far?
miss_pants 9th-Oct-2012 04:38 am (UTC)
I've been to a few of those screenings and we've always gotten there about 2-3 hours early and STILL have a couple hundred people ahead of us. I'm in Seattle though, it may not be as crazy in a smaller city.

One of the times I was about 6 months pregnant & I could NOT keep myself under control. I had to eat or pee like every 20 minutes, it was like torture having to be in that line.
harleenfrances 10th-Oct-2012 11:10 am (UTC)
there will already be a line, trust me lol. before i got a job i lived for movie screenings and i shit you not ppl would get there at like 2pm when it didn't even start til 8pm. i went to PA3 and we got there 3 hours early and it was already 100+ deep! so glad i have money now.
merenwen17 9th-Oct-2012 02:02 am (UTC)
kids in a scary movie?

fuck that
powerbottom 9th-Oct-2012 02:02 am (UTC)
V/H/S sucked, btw. I've never laughed harder during a movie that was supposed to be scary.
kapuki234 9th-Oct-2012 02:03 am (UTC)
the main characters were so assholish i was praying for their deaths
powerbottom 9th-Oct-2012 02:05 am (UTC)
It just didn't make sense. Had they done the whole killer/snuff film thing, it could have worked but they went the alien/paranormal way with it and it just came out as a really bad, low budget film.
saintsmarching 9th-Oct-2012 02:17 am (UTC)
I was not sad to see them go. Also, the bar bros in the first sequence.
love_allure 9th-Oct-2012 03:55 am (UTC)
omg yes. i was shaking my head throughout all the whole movie.
redaodai 9th-Oct-2012 02:04 am (UTC)
I liked the alien story. The last one was... okay sort of.
caribou_cake 9th-Oct-2012 02:05 am (UTC)
good to know. ive been meaning to watch it and a friend said it was "intense," but i had a feeling she thought it was intense because of all the hype
howlcosmiclove 9th-Oct-2012 02:08 am (UTC)
mte, it was weak.
rolt_me 9th-Oct-2012 02:15 am (UTC)
thought it was too long but still enjoyable. liked the invisible lake monster one
hebk 9th-Oct-2012 02:36 am (UTC)
I really liked it but I didn't know anything about it. The trailer really gives everything away.
redglare 9th-Oct-2012 02:46 am (UTC)
it was like, dudebro rapists: the movie

idgaf if the guys "got what was coming to them" a few minutes of blood and gore revenge does not cancel out loads of sexual(ized) violence thanks
hjohnson 9th-Oct-2012 03:20 am (UTC)
I had it on my computer and then saw some GIFs someone posted here and read 2 comments and immediately deleted it. Not here for that kind of crap.
letsallchant 9th-Oct-2012 03:21 am (UTC)
It was as if Reddit users chipped in and made a movie. But as far as horror movies go, I didn't think it was that bad, but I was definitely annoyed by the whole dudebro vibe.
eightball 9th-Oct-2012 03:32 am (UTC)
that was really bad. I swear im never getting excited over damn trailers ever again
milkradio 9th-Oct-2012 04:31 am (UTC)
seriously that movie was turrible
lathwen1 9th-Oct-2012 02:02 am (UTC)
yes! I'm on time for a creepy post!

I went to see The Possession this last saturday and I really liked it. The girl was specially great on her part.
Also the way she screamed was chilling.
ellie_andrews 9th-Oct-2012 02:04 am (UTC)
So unnecessary but I'll probably watch it lol
vatulele 9th-Oct-2012 02:05 am (UTC)
I watched PA high as fuck with two of my friends last year and to be honest I don't remember what happened at all except for there was an earthquake in the kitchen?

Really, no idea what happened lol.

corruptionoflol 9th-Oct-2012 02:13 am (UTC)
idr that? i saw it maybe 6 months ago and all i remember was them setting out dust for the ghost to "step in". like cut it out with all this scooby doo shit and get out of the house
vatulele 9th-Oct-2012 02:32 am (UTC)
It was me and two other girls and we'd been laying out all day, pool drinking and then we came back up and smoked two bowls and decided to watch a scary movie.

I don't even know if I was aware enough for the end when she goes all feral possesed.
soavantgarde 9th-Oct-2012 02:38 am (UTC)
but the ghost was ~following her~ so it wouldn't have mattered, right?

idk why they kept provoking it, leave that shit alone until you can get it exorcised
fuckyess 13th-Oct-2012 03:18 pm (UTC)
lmao at scooby doo shit
thetxbelle 9th-Oct-2012 02:15 am (UTC)
I just tried to watch Cabin in the Woods high the other night, will not be trying that again.
astrologee 9th-Oct-2012 02:19 am (UTC)
no, all of the kitchenware was levitated to the ceiling by the demon, i presume, and then it got dropped. favorite scene, tbh.
algore_galore 9th-Oct-2012 03:20 am (UTC)
hahaha that happened to me years ago when i went to see the movie sariyana while high. like.. all i remember is george clooney's nails being pulled off. that's all.
idiotgirl 9th-Oct-2012 03:38 am (UTC)
oh man, i did the exact same thing
monsieurflynn 9th-Oct-2012 02:06 am (UTC)
my internet speed needs to improve so i can finally dl and watch black christmas (the original ofc). looks creepy

redaodai 9th-Oct-2012 02:10 am (UTC)
Possibly my favorite horror movie. The remake can suck my taint, though.
landwarinasia 9th-Oct-2012 02:41 am (UTC)
The very end of this movie always bugs the SHIT out of me. Not in a bad way tho.

Enjoy it!
letsallchant 9th-Oct-2012 03:27 am (UTC)
Good choice. I watched this on TCM back in December, and it was really creepy.

My internet connection has also been shit lately. Not sure what's causing it, but it's interfering with my horror movie watchathons.
