I don't think he technically can tell her (because of clearance issues, like you said), but I wouldn't be surprised if he did anyway, given their conversation on the roof about her not trusting her instincts because of Brody.

This show is SO stressfulllll, my god. I'm not sure I buy that he'd have been able to bring a cell phone in there at all, though, let alone send a text.
