Back in July it seemed as though Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton were heading for splitsville after he enjoyed a champagne fuelled penthouse party with 10 women.
But having worked through their problems, the couple took to their individual Twitter accounts on Saturday to wish each one another support.
Hamilton, 27, began the affectionate exchange over the micro-blogging site when he revealed he thoughts on his girlfriend's new unreleased music.
Currently in Japan as prepares for the Formula One Grand Prix race on Sunday, Lewis tweeted: 'Just at the track, finished meetings & interviews. Listening to my girl @NicoleScherzy music, stuff you haven't heard yet & it blows my mind'.
Keen to get Nicole's attention, he then posted a message moments later revealing that he would be tuning into The X Factor tonight to watch his leading lady takes to the live shows with her contestants Rylan Clark, James Arthur and Jahmene Douglas.
The post read: 'Can't wait for you all to hear it. Gonna be watching Xfactor in support of @NicoleScherzy n her singers. I wish them all the best!!'
With his mission accomplished, the 34-year-old X Factor judge responded to his tweet and gushed about how he'd always be number one in her, regardless of where he places in the race on Sunday.
She wrote: '@LewisHamilton thank so much babe for all your support..I can't wait to watch your race tomm! Race your heart out, you are always #1 to me.'
On Thursday morning the former Pussycat Dolls singer spoke briefly about their relationship during an appearance on ITV's Lorraine show.
Speaking about the fact that they're apart while she commits to her X Factor duties, the U.S. star explained: 'Everything’s good and I wish that I could be with him this week and for Japan - I'm used to going to those races with him there.
'I do have something else, our first live show on Saturday, but I think after Korea he will come back and stay with me. So he’s actually going to try and be with me as much as possible, so that will be lovely.'
She also immediately squashed rumours that there may have been trouble in paradise again, Nicole said: 'Me and my lovely man are lovely, that’s what’s going on. Yeah, we’re great.'
Going from strength to strength: Lewis regularly posts pictures of himself with Nicole to his Instagram account
