‘Teen Wolf’ episode 3×01 title revealed
by Karen Rought
Ian Bohen (Peter) has tweeted a picture of a season 3 script, giving us the title of the very first episode!
Well, that’s certainly intriguing! Naming the first episode “Tattoo” makes a lot of sense, too. Back in August, we shared an interview that Tyler Posey (Scott) and Colton Haynes (Jackson) did with THR, during which Posey talked about a new tattoo he had gotten.

When they were discussing how much time each of them spends in the makeup chair, Haynes pointed out that Posey would soon be putting in more hours due to his tattoos. That large one on his bicep was about a month old when that interview was conducted, but Posey seemed confident that it wouldn’t add that much time to his routine. In fact, he said that executive producer Jeff Davis might write it into the show.
“So it’s like a werewolf mark?” Haynes asks. “So, are the other wolves gonna have to, like, get the mark too?”

Posey didn’t know, but he pointed out Tyler Hoechlin’s (Derek’s) tattoo on his back. That tattoo means something in the show, not only to Derek, but to werewolves in general. It symbolizes the alpha, the beta, and the omega, and that each one can fall or rise within those ranks.
Posey mentions that the tattoo looks a little tribal, so it should fit well into the vibe of the show. We’re curious as to how it will make its debut, though. Will it be something Scott chooses to get because he has finally accepted his life as a werewolf? Or will it be something that could possibly protect him from someone trying to do him harm? And, most importantly, what do you think his mom is going to think about it?!
Given that the first episode seems to be centered around the tattoo, we’re sure it's going to be a big deal.
Filming for season 3 of Teen Wolf begins sometime next month.

i have a feeling it will centre around derek's tattoo and the mark the alpha pack carved into his front door what with them being similar/the same and its importance in werewolf lore.
although i always assumed we "learned" about the tattoo after that whole bit with boyd and the alpha-beta-omega stuff. like that was what jeff was referring to?
the wait is going to suck.
Teen Wolf needs to give us some background on the Hale family imo.
Especially since his sister rose to alpha instead of him. I know she was older than him but it's still interesting that women have equal rights to ascension.
My small complaint is they keep killing the strong, crazy, villainous women off the show like Mama Argent but they'll bring back Peter and Grandpa Gerald really isn't dead.
idk idk Derek's life gives me so many feels. It's like, you know how most of us felt when we saw Stiles' adorable face all beaten up? That's how I feel when I think about Derek.
omg this comment was such a downer, here's precious irl Hoechlin getting a hug:
Also IA, Derek has a shitty life so far... he needs some cuddles and maybe a therapist.
I love Derek, he's a failapha, but he tries. I still am upset that they glossed over his sister when Peter came back though. Like I'd buy that Derek, desperate for family, feeling like no one is there for him (although, dude, come on you kind of did it yourself, preying on weak kids and then treating them like shit) would go back to Peter, but not mentioning his sister just pisses me off. It was like his entire motivating force in S1.
BEST SMILE EVER, with his tiny cute teeth!
But yeah, I can honestly see why Scott doesn't trust him. But damn does Derek have every reason not to smile on the show. If he's gonna get a love interest, I want that shit to develop SO WELL...
my feelings exactly
Srsly though, I need my Derek flashbacks, dammit. Give me my Hale family feels!
like I ship Lydia and Jackson but Jackson's also really gay so idek.
I'm skeptical about these twins tbh.
Needs more Erica and Isaac. Also needs legit Sterek. this comment does not make a lick of sense! sorry!
