Amy Acker (“Dollhouse,” “Angel”) reprises her role as Root and Emmy Award winner Margo Martindale (“Justified”) guest stars as a woman from Root’s past.

That was awesome. Fusco is such a great character and he and Reese have such a hilarious relationship. I love how Reese is always hesitant to call him his friend but Fusco is shameless (or honest) enough to blatantly complain about that.

Srsly the core 4 characters all have such awesome interactions. I love this show.

ia bb, Margo Martindale is amazing. And Root is awesome, I loved her whole Skynet ~setting the Machine free~ speech. Never thought I'd hear anything like that on a CBS procedural. I can't wait for tonight's episode.

i actually fucking love this show. i started watching two days ago and i just finished season 1. ITS AMAZING. its like a mixture of bourne/batman. best show on tv atm.

I feel the same way bb, it's my favourite network show by far. I can't believe it's a CBS procedural, it's so well-written and comic book-y and action-packed and well acted and, wow. I just love it. I'm happy more people are getting into it.

Right? It's so different and more intricate and just, on another level imo. But it still has a case of the week so it fits in the general mold of CBS procedurals. It's just more awesome. idk idk I love it.

tbqh plot-wise you wouldn't have a problem just watching this episode (though you are missing out on Ken Leung, lol).

[Spoilers if you want them (just the basics in case you want to watch tonight)]
Reese got a new number from the machine (who called him in the season finale). He thought it was a number related to Finch and the Machine was helping him, but turns out the number involved a totally random person in danger (Ken Leung). Reese got mad and literally stood on the street on 2 separate occasions yelling at security cameras, i.e. the Machine, asking it to help him find Finch. In the end, the Machine called Reese back and gave him another number, Root's SSN and real name. So Reese told Carter they were going on a roadtrip to Texas, where Root's hometown is located. There were also some creepy Root/Finch scenes. Oh and Reese got a dog.

I have Netflix rn so I've been banning myself from watching the non-essentials and saving them for when I am sans Netflix again. I'll probably just end up catching up on all of ~my stories next month. But thanks for the update! omg, hf Reese/dog future shenanigans. I hope Finch gets to dogsit eventually.

Srsly. he already has a Batman voice. And he's pretty awesome with the stunts, he has impressed me on this show. There are legit fight scenes (a lot of them) and he's right in there kicking ass. It's a pleasant twist compared to most other network shows where the lead just throws lame stage punches.
