As the Marvel hero Thor, Chris Hemsworth made himself known the world over as the mighty Norse God. But even actors who play powerful deities need to keep up their fitness at every opportunity. So when he joined his family for a little shopping trip in West London, Chris, 29, was ready to hit the pavement whilst his wife and daughter continued their browsing.
There was a marked difference between the actor who plays Thor and the bearded gent pounding the streets. earing long black shorts, a grey sweater with Bluebird printed on the front and some workout trainers, Chris embarked on a steady jog with water and phone in hand. Whilst he kept his heart rate pumping his Spanish wife Elsa Pataky, 36, was in similar workout attire wearing a grey hoody and black leggings.
Whether Elsa had already exercised or saw the shopping trip as a form of training can't be confirmed, but having to push around newborn daughter India Rose in a push chair of that size would definitely giver her arms a workout. The model mother paid a visit to upmarket boutique Zadig & Voltaire with her husband before he ran off. Chris has enjoyed a successful year by starring in Marvel's Avengers Assemble and Snow White And The Huntsman - two of the biggest blockbusters to hit the big screen.
The former Home And Away star is hoping to continue this success with his upcoming remake of 80s classic Red Dawn. The original starred a young Patrick Swayzee and Charlie Sheen who have to battle Russian soldiers who have invaded their midwestern town in a bid to take control of America. Chris will fill Patrick's shoes as the soldier who has to lead his brother - The Hunger Games' Josh Hutcherson - and a group of teenagers to save their town from an invasion - but in this updated version the threat comes in the form of North Korean soldiers. With his hulking physique, Chris is fast becoming the new Arnold Schwarzenegger as the modern day action hero.
But by looking at his filmography and the several action movies in the works - including Steven Spielberg's Robocalypse with Anne Hathaway - this is a typecast Chris doesn't seem to mind.

He's not my cup of tea either, but I don't mind him.

and that he's really tall and broad without looking like a brick. I usually find him more attractive when I'm looking for something more masculine. He's "manly" but not excessively so.
yeap i kinda like him
at least I can recognise them as feelings of 'I temporarily want to cuddle a baby' rather than 'I want to have a baby', lol
Can't. He's too much.
