The Weeknd Debuts "Rolling Stone" Video, 'Trilogy' Artwork

With just a slight delay of 14 months (lol), OVOXO crooner The Weeknd debuts the music video for his Thursday mixtape cut, "Rolling Stone." Much like the music itself, the visuals are very much minimalistic, getting up-close-and-personal with Abel Tesfaye as delivers his delicious vocals in a black-and-white setting. He's also in the company of an assumably attractive female (her face is hidden for the duration of the clip), which is a given.

To accompany the fresh visual release, The Weeknd also unveils the artwork for his upcoming Trilogy release, a compilation of his three critically acclaimed mixtapes -- House of Balloons, Thursday, Echoes of Silence -- with a few bonus tracks thrown in. The LP is due out Nov. 13 via Universal Republic.

frank ocean totally stole this guy's thunder, which isn't a bad thing, considering the first ep was the only good thing the weeknd did. the rest all sounded the same.

cruel_bitch0808 3rd-Oct-2012 04:52 pm (UTC)
I don't care about this song but he's flawless. I want a video for Wicked games or What you need
solid_girl 3rd-Oct-2012 06:26 pm (UTC)
I go through phases when I'm addicted so his songs and when I find them grating as hell. This is why I didn't get tickets to his concert. I wasn't sure what phase i'd be in.

But good for him for getting on and killing the whole emo R&B genre?
