NBC has given Revolution, Go On and The New Normal a giant vote of confidence, giving all three freshman shows full-season orders.
“We’re impressed with the imagination and creative direction of the entire team on Revolution, not to mention the immediately strong response we got from the audience,” said NBC entertainment president Jennifer Salke in a statement. “We’re also very proud of our new comedy block of Go On and The New Normal.”
The pick-ups, the first of the new season, come as NBC is celebrating its first premiere-week victory in nearly a decade. ”We’re very pleased with early results of the last three weeks of our fall season roll-out,” said NBC Chairman Robert Greenblatt. “The strategy for this season was to draft off the promotional platform of the Olympics and then begin our season early and strong. I think we’ve accomplished both of those goals, yet we know it’s a long season and there’s much work ahead of us.”

Go On is seriously Matthew's best post-Friends role. And I desperately need the ratings to continue like this so it gets a second season. And I want him to have a successful show.
idk, I might have to still give that to Studio 60, ngl
No to the New Normal I could not watch the pilot, it was so bad.
I was waiting to see how Revolution would go, I'm tired of high concept dramas that don't deliver.
Then you get to the part where it is portraying a post electric world where e veryone has the finest hair stylists available apparently, clean, freshly made clothes and enough pressed uniforms to suit a militia.
Even though there are no showers, no toothpaste, no running water, no LAVATORIES and no toilet paper.
Think about the budding romance between annoying lead girl left out in the sun too long and Nate now.
But yeah, the acting, writing and direction are pretty bad.

it's clear that the grandma is a "haha racist" person, and it's clear that her overt racism is supposed to distract from the covert-racist writing. that's what i got out of the first episode, and i wondered if it just continues that way.
hahahahaha
