So this is happening.
Olivia Munn To Do Arc on Fox's 'New Girl'

Another day, another New Girl guest star!
Olivia Munn, who most recently did a lot of scene-stealing on Aaron Sorkin's HBO drama The Newsroom, is set to guest star on an upcoming episode of the Fox hit comedy, reps for the actress and network confirmed to E! News.
And like so many guest stars before her (Lake Bell, Lizzy Caplan, and Katrina Bowden), the Magic Mike star will be romancing one of Zooey Deschanel's onscreen roomies...
Munn is set to play the sexy, earthy, and charming Angie, Nick's (Jake Johnson) new love interest, who can hold her own with the quippy group.
Fret not, Newsroom fans, as Munn's multi-episode arc on New Girl will be filmed in about two weeks, before production starts on season two of the HBO drama. Her New Girl episodes are slated to run in November.
"Welcome to the show," Johnson tweeted Munn after the news broke.

Don't hate her, don't love her. Meh.

never would've guessed
But haven't watched New Girl regularly as I did when it started.
Then again, I also liked how Studio 60 on the strip was and it had the same qualities as this show that divded people (actually saying divided is probably generous)
Trying to tell an audience how the media works and thinks in 2012 seems a bit naive of narrative for a show, but Im alright with it cause I can watch Jeff Daniels, Slumdog homie and Olivia in most things.
It flows which is the one way to describe it
the writing isn't West Wing-amazing levels, but the actors ensemble is amazing, and they're doing a very good job (again, Pill being the exeception). Overall, it's a good show. I'm looking forward 2nd season, except for anything Maggie related.
Also they toned down the twee a bit.
ia but her pr team needs a gold fucking medal, for real.
