Another win for the defense! TNT has ordered a third season of Franklin & Bash, the legal dramedy from the Emmy-winning Kevin Falls (Journeyman) that stars Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer as man-child defense lawyers. The series returned for its second year this summer with guest stars like Seth Green, Eric Mabius and Cybill Shepherd and included flashbacks like how Peter Franklin (Gossellar) and Jared Bash (Meyer) first met. Fans also got to meet Peter’s mom, played by Jane Seymour. The season ended Aug. 14.
Meanwhile, Gosselaar is set to guest star with Frankie Muniz in the season 2 premiere of ABC’s Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23. In the episode, star James Van Der Beek attempts to pull off a Dawson’s Creek reunion, and crosses paths with other actors who also served as the stars of their own shows, such as Gosselaar (Saved by the Bell) and Muniz (Malcolm in the Middle).
Oh thank God! I was convinced they were going to cancel it, tbh.
