"Captain America" Chris Evans had little to say on the red carpet last night at the Boston Film Festival premiere of “Stranglehold: In the Shadow of the Boston Strangler,” a film he narrated for his Sudbury pal, Myles Jewell.
"You guys are the nicest red carpet I’ve ever been to," said Chris, a res of the neighborhood formerly known as the Combat Zone. "A nice crowd."
The "What’s Your Number" hunk showed up at the Revere Hotel sporting a Bruins cap and jeans and refused to field questions about the flick or his "Friday Night Lights" lady Minka Kelly. Which left Myles to provide the 411 on the film — a documentary based on letters written by his grandfather, a detective who worked the Strangler serial murder case in the 1960s — and Chris!
"He’s a total bro," said Jewell, who grew up down the street from the Evans clan in Sudbury. "It’s a testament to the art of filmmaking that he would be willing to do this for hometown friends."
