The green dress Kiera Knightly wore in Atonement. I am obsessed with it. But sadly, I am not tall, skinny & flat chested. I have Kat Dennings' body type, but my boobs aren't quite that big.

(And I'm not actually sad about my body type at all- I just regret not being able to wear a dress like that.)

Technically it's a wedding dress (Claire Pettibone's Madame Butterfly without the obi) that I came across when helping my sister look for a wedding gown but it... really doesn't look like a wedding dress to me. It looks like something I'd expect to see on the red carpet. Either way I think it's one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever seen honestly:



I also really loved the modified Alexander McQueen Kate Moss wore on Vogue forever ago:

Really, though just about anything Alexander McQueen, Reem Acra, or Elie Saab would be amazing. I love those best, they're almost always gorgeous. Elie Saab especially my god are those gorgeous gowns. One of my absolute faves from Elie Saab, and which makes me wish I were famous so I could wear it, is this one with the collar-like part:

I know, and I wouldn't be giving grief over this if not for the fact that I feel like her people are trying really hard to push her as a ~hot young thing right now. I don't wish her any ill will--if she's a good actress, I hope she gets roles--but I think it's creepy to try to make someone so young-looking into a sex symbol.
