Although Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas had an official job to do at the iHeartRadio Music Festival — introduce Enrique Iglesias — the most dedicated and astute fans might assume that their appearance at the two-day, star-studded festival meant the boys have some music news to make in the very near future.
When MTV News caught up with Nick, Kevin and Joe just before their Enrique intro on Saturday night, theJoBros said those assumptions would be correct.
"It could just mean that we heart radio and this is a combination of our love," Nick joked. "No, but it does mean that the album is coming along and that we're days, if not hours away from choosing a single so it's very exciting. We've got a good team around us and we're excited to get the music out there for our fans."
As for when we might hear said single, the guys don't have an official release date or goal set yet.
"As soon as possible," Kevin said of their preferred release.
"Yeah, we want to do it really quickly," added Joe. "Luckily, we're in a position where we get to decide if we wanted to do it tonight, but I think we're kind of lining it up to our show we have at Radio City coming up very soon, so it should be around that time."
So is this a get-up-and-dance single or a slow ballad or what?
"It's a 'Get-up-and-then-sit-down-and-then-dance' [single]," Joe teased.
"Wow, that's deep," said Nick. "It's a little bit of a, especially for us to describe it, it's something that people can dance to that also puts them in a place, brings them to a certain atmosphere, gives them a vibe about the seasons that we've been through these last three years in sort of doing our own thing."

There's a video of the interview but I couldn't get it to embed.
Also can't get this video to embed, but Joe challenges LL Cool J to a bench press contest for some reason.
Your new favorite song is coming "very soon"

No one cared one ounce about them until his ridiculous reality show.
I think if nobody cared, I'd be front row alone at Radio City, not 40+ rows back! Maybe most of those people won't show up and I can move closer!
But I like how Joe was all "We could release it tonight if we wanted...but we're not gonna." LOL! But I guess the good thing about not having a label is they can put it out whenever they feel like it.
The 13 & 14 year olds have mostly gotten the fuck out, thank God. 1D can have them, we don't want them anymore.
Which is fine, I'm sure the guys will wipe their tears with their millions so they don't care.
i am so excited
