Seth MacFarlane is teaming with his partners in the raunchy teddy-bear comedy "Ted" for a new comedy -- this time on the small screen.
Fox has placed a put-pilot order with series penalty commitment for a new project from MacFarlane. The live-action comedy will be executive-produced by MacFarlane, and written and executive-produced by Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild, who co-wrote "Ted" with MacFarlane.
The as-yet-untitled project will follow two successful guys in their 30's whose lives are turned upside-down when their nightmare dads unexpectedly move in with them.
Twentieth Century Fox Television will produce.
MacFarlane, of course, is no stranger to Fox -- the network's Sunday night Animation Domination block is largely made up of the MacFarlane fare "Family Guy," "American Dad" and "The Cleveland Show." Sulkin and Wellesley have both worked extensively on "Family Guy," while Sulkin has also provided voices for "The Cleveland Show."

I watched Family Guy all the time but now I can't bring myself to do it anymore haha.
like I tried to watch it again after South Park dragged it, but I was like "wow, South Park was totally right about this show." lol

American Dad is the only good thing left that he is in. None of these "adult cartoons" short of South Park is funnier than American Dad. EOS
Family Guy is absolute shit now because all they do is repeat the jokes from earlier Family eps, stretch out one basic joke over one long unnecessary scene (Peter falls and holds his knee going "oooh" for two minutes), cutaway every other second, or toss in something like rape and go "LOL I'M BEING OFFENSIVE ABOUT RAPE!!!!! AREN'T I HILARIOUS???!!! :D" without making any real joke or statement.
