I was kind of wondering about that. I mean, they have chemistry and all but he sounded like he was about to say he was in love with her too, which he managed to hide really well if that's true.
I thought Duke has always liked Audrey, because even at the beginning he said how he shouldn't like her because she's a cop and he even let her move at the Grey Gull. His feeling's were never on the surface like Nathan's and Duke has a persona to uphold.
He's always liked her. Too bad the show went the conventional Nathan/Audrey route. I never liked the pairing and Duke/Audrey have way more chemistry IMO.
yesss! So happy someone agrees. Audrey/Nathan feel like brother and sister to me (I absolutely HATE when people say this about couples I like to discredit them but it's *honestly* how I feel about them). Duke/Audrey are hot without trying to be. They have a chill vibe, but totally seductive. Oh well.
Yes! I can't with people thinking Audrey/Duke has come out of nowhere... He has obviously been interested in her from day one. Unlike her relationship with Nathan which holds zero charge.
I hope the promo they showed during the episode pops up online. that scene with duke and nathan drawing their guns was so sexy.

The whole alien thing just reminded me of the X Files.
