Army Wives will return for duty on Lifetime.
The female-skewing cable network has renewed the Kim Delaney drama for a seventh season consisting of 13 episodes.
"Army Wives is a very special program. It's rare to find a series that connects with viewers and resonates so powerfully after six straight seasons, and we couldn’t be prouder to have it return to Lifetime next year," Lifetime executive vp programming Rob Sharenow said Friday.
In its recently completed sixth season, the series averaged 3.2 million total viewers and ranked as ad-supported cable's No. 1 series in its premiere time period among women 18 and up.
The series co-stars Sally Pressman, Brian McNamara, Sterling K. Brown, Wendy Davis, Drew Fuller, Terry Serpico, Kelli Williams and Catherine Bell in a story about a diverse group of women (and one man) living with their families on an active Army post and is based on the book Army Wives: The Unwritten Code of Military Marriage by Tanya Biank, who consults on the drama.

I wonder if this will be the final season. And I wonder if Kim will be back since she was missing for most of the season. Catherine will definitely be back, but I'm not sure about Drew and Sally.
Also, still LOLing forever over Roxy and Trevor naming their sons Wyatt and Drew.
Edit:

That said, exactly who from the series cast will return for Season 7 has not been detailed, and is not expected to be announced until closer to the start of production.

From Deadline Hollywood
I'd love for Brian to be back.
I think Drew and Sally will be gone, tbh. The season finale seemed to be an ending for them.
Catherine will definitely be back since she signed a new deal recently, and Kelli Williams is also returning since she just joined last year.
Ugh, it's going to suck having very few originals next season. Hopefully it'll be the last season.
Is the lady from JAG on this still?
Now just renew Drop Dead Diva damnit!
And I don't think Drew and Sally will be back, tbh. That seemed like an ending to them.
The only people we know for sure that are returning are Kelli Williams and Catherine Bell. (Kelli just became a regular last year, and Catherine recently signed a new deal for two years.)
It did seem like an ending, but if you get rid of Pamela and Roxy and Trevor then all of my favorites are gone. :( I mean, if this was the last season then I'd be okay with it though.
I'll really miss Roxy and Trevor, especially since I started watching for Drew.
Denise and Frank are my favorite couple, though, so I'll be sticking around for them.
