Here’s the Surveillance Tape From Lindsay Lohan’s Hit-and-Run


Soon after Lindsay Lohan’s arrest yesterday, TMZ reported that a Dream Hotel surveillance tape had actually caught the alleged hit-and-run on video. Well, the NYPD has released said tape, and though a few bystanders are blocking the crucial moment in question (it happens top left, around the :10 second mark) you can at least make out the major players: a parking lot, a car, and a pair of sneakers belonging to Jose Rodriguez. The tape is slowed down, but Lindsay still appears to be driving at a reasonable speed (watch how long she waits before turning in). And this much is clear: Rodriguez was able to run after her. Pretty quickly, too! Do you still have your “Free Lindsay” signs? Are you ready to use them again?

it doesn't even look like she was going fast enought to cause damage if she had hit them, in which I only saw a blob run after her.

Yeah, it looks like the guy walked in front of her AFTER she'd stopped to let people move. Completely his fault if he did get hit.

She did wait 'two damn seconds'. In the video, the guy she 'hit' waited until she stopped and then walked up to the car. Then ran after her once he was 'hit'.

I'm not a lindsay fan, I'm just saying... I don't think this was her fault. However, I do think she belongs in jail. I think it's the only way she'd get clean for more than 2 seconds.

it pissed me off beyond belief that people gather in front of a garage entrance and block people from leaving and entering. every time i try to enter my building i have to honk and hold my horn until they move. if they can't hear their oh so important conversations over my horn they move. bunch of douche bags.
