Entertainment Tonight (via The Film Stage) has debuted the first footage from the Park Chan-wook thriller Stoker, starring Mia Wasikowska, Matthew Goode, Nicole Kidman, Dermot Mulroney, Jacki Weaver, Alden Ehrenreich and Lucas Till.
In the March 1 release, written by Wentworth Miller, India's (Wasikowska) father dies in an auto accident and her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.

and it seems to be channeling the recent mildred pierce a tad
i'm still kind of intrigued though.
but i thought i read online that it's supposed to have like a supernatural/vampire element
