Natalie Portman puts career on hold

Actress takes a break from hectic work life to be with son Aleph

Natalie Portman is taking a career break so she can spend more time with her son.

The actress, who gave birth to Aleph in June 2011, has decided raising him is going to be her full-time job.

“Natalie is being super choosy about her projects and taking more time off from acting,” a source told US Weekly.

“She has this glow about her these days. There’s been a change in her since the little man arrived.”

Natalie and hubby Benjamin Millepied recently jetted off to Turks and Caicos in the West Indies for their honeymoon, but took Aleph with them because they would’ve missed him too much.

“This break was very precious to them. They made silly faces to make Aleph laugh and they all looked like they couldn’t be happier,” a source told Life & Style magazine.

When expecting, the Oscar-winning actress experienced some unusual cravings and apparently inspired her dad to write a pregnancy novel.
