Fiona Apple was arrested at a border stop in Texas yesterday ... after authorities claim they found hashish on the "Criminal" singer's tour bus ... TMZ has learned.
It all went down in Sierra Blanca, TX -- where stars like Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg and Armie Hammer have all been arrested for drugs in the past.
But apparently, Apple didn't learn from their mistakes ... and when her bus was stopped for inspection, cops turned up the hash -- a strong form of cannabis.
The 35-year-old singer was arrested for possession and is currently being held at Hudspeth County Jail.

I got pulled over there twice within a two mile stretch for not having a front license plate. who the fuck does that?
leave weed dealers alone especially, most of the time they just do it to hook up their friends and don't care about making profit. and even if they do, it's not a drug that inherently fosters deception and scammy shit... dealers (of what i call "positive" substances such as weed and entheogens, and really i think they should be called something less negative than dealers anyway) should be testing their products so they only distribute quality product (and if they don't want to, then... don't sell it?*), but a junkie/crack or methhead dipping into their stash always leads to disaster.
* honestly i kind of look down on those that sell substances to make $ anyway. the people i obtain weed, shrooms, etc from only charge to recuperate the cost they invested to obtain the stuff, maybe some for transportation costs also, but aren't in it for big bucks - just to enjoy them with their friends. personally that's how i think it should be

drug laws in this country are so fucking stupid and a waste of money and time. alcohol is more dangerous than weed in both the short AND long term. so are cigarettes. so is chewing tobacco. so are fucking trans-fats, holy shit

My ex was such a hypocrite. He would freak the FUCK out if I smoked at a party, but ass would get stupid drunk out of his mind all the time.
My friends and I were talking the other day about how if alcohol were invented, like, in the 1950s or something (and we hadn't been drinking it since the beginning of time), they would not make that shit legal. It makes people sick, act erratic, drive drunk, kill people, hurt themselves, break shit... It would be illegal like every other drug.
