Gwyneth Paltrow has spoken of the "extra empathy" that she has for her son.
The actress suffered from postpartum depression following the birth of her second child Moses in 2006, and she believes it has brought them closer together.
Paltrow - who also has 8-year-old daughter Apple with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin - told InStyle magazine: "When Apple was born, she had the hugest blue eyes. I looked into them, and she was looking at me, and I felt like, 'You are here to teach me everything'.
"After [Moses] was born, I had postpartum depression. It was a difficult time, and because of that I believe I have an extra empathy for him, and he for me."
Paltrow also revealed that she is quite a strict mother, saying that in spite of the family splitting their time between the United Kingdom and the United States, she only lets her children watch French and Spanish TV programs.
"When I'm in France, I go to [Boulevard] Beaumarchais and buy all their cartoons," she added.

Like, if it had anything to do with language immersion it'd be fine, but we know Gwyneth, that heiffa's motives are unpure and condescending, lol.
Not this wretched (albeit well dressed and polished) person can continue to goop.

I can't believe I feel bad for Gwyneth Paltrow on that note.Edited at 2012-09-20 06:41 am (UTC)
