'Teen Mom' Catelynn Hits the Bong!

"Teen Mom" star Catelynn Lowell -- the girl who gave her baby up for adoption on the show -- got into some serious HIGH jinks this summer, ripping a massive bong at a party with friends.



The photo -- obtained by TMZ -- tells the story. It was snapped last month at a friend's get-together in Michigan -- showing Catelynn in rolled up jeans, igniting some sizable glassware ... and taking a big ol' hit.

Catelynn could've been the one "Teen Mom" star who ever appeared responsible and smart.

Past tense.

Catelynn's manager, who said he could not "confirm the validity" of the photo, tells TMZ, "Like many other young adults, Catelynn, at times, struggles with making the best decisions for her health and career. As her manager, I have strongly advised her to exercise good judgment at all times. She must learn from her mistakes. This will serve as a teachable moment in her development as a young woman."

in (maybe the last?) episode of teen mom he had a temper tantrum about the puppy crapping in the house (because his lazy ass didn't take him out) and kicked the dog, screamed at it forever, and then literally kicked the poor thing out of his glamorous trailer while caitlyn sat there and did nothing.

It really made me stop and go "holy shit" when he went batshit. He's always been seemingly calm and okay. Then he just snapped. It makes me insanely sad but it's like we're watching him turn into his dad o.O

she is a birth-mother. She protected and nourished her child for nine months then made the selfless decision to place her baby with a family that could give the baby an awesome life.

She is braver and stronger than most people I know.


She may not be a MOM, but she's a birth-mom.

I'm p terrified of that happening. "semi-open" adoption is terrible. Catelynn and Tyler got coerced into it and mislead. They probably had no idea before placement that open adoption is not held up to any legal standards.

B & T won't get away with closing the adoption for many years because of the popularity of this show. By the time things have quieted down enough, Carly might be old enough to have a say in keeping it open if she wants. ANYTHING could happen. It's scary. I'm scared for them.

I think semi-open is a better alternative than open because I've never seen a child do well in that situation, they end up very confused. My adoption was closed and I'm so thankful I didn't meet them until I was older.

*Shrug* If she's the only one who faces the consequences of her decisions, I don't really get why anyone cares.

I mean, there are legality issues, obviously, and the political consequences of the Marijuana trade, but that's really more of a problem society needs to address as a whole and not especially relevant to this incident in particular.

your comment reminded me of a funny story. a while ago, i met up with a friend who mentioned that she wanted to smoke later that night. my other friend wanted to buy some, so the first friend was like "oh my dealer is at my friend's house, we'll just stop by there really quick" and then we did and we sat down. we were getting ready to pass a pipe at the time when we heard something crying. the dealer (a very flamboyant young man) squealed and said "i've been waiting for you to wake up!!!!" and then leaned down and picked up like a four month old child.

i have never left someone's house so quickly.

Even if you have kids, you can be a successful, loving and productive mom who cares for her kids and also happens to smoke. I think that would be the only way I could ever manage being a mom because children and responsibility on that level stresses me out. If it makes you more calm and collected and less likely to say, snap at your kid, then by all means, please. Some moms who smoke have also said they feel more creative interacting with their child under the influence.
